It was a terrible experience that I had never witnessed in my life not until last year, I was coming back from work and I saw that the whole neighborhood was in chaos, there was so much noise and the more I approached my street I began to see people running and holding a bucket of water in the hands with flames covered the cloud.
It was an incident that no one will pray for, I cried for my neighbor that day, her house caught fire, and the whole house burnt to ashes without remedy, they were unable to bring out a pin from the house before the incident, all that they worked for just disappeared within a twinkle of an eye, I saw these neighbors and I felt for them.
Before the incident
As I approached the scene and asked the neighbors how it happened, they explained that a boy tampered with one of the electronic gadgets in the house and the next thing was that the cable wire sparkled and that was all that happened.
The fire service company was nowhere to be found, though I saw the effort of people trying to help it was so difficult because no one could enter the house, all we are happy about is that no one was in the house sleeping during the incident, but this rendered them homeless for months, I felt their pain because where will they start from, how are they going to cope in this economy hardship.
The other view of the apartment after the incident
I harbored my neighbor for months before she could get herself, she lost everything she had, all her clothes even her certificate for burnt but the good thing is that she had it on her Google email, that was what saved her, I was just checking through my phone when I saw the video and I decided to share it.
Last week I saw one of the victims and I saw that she had already moved past the incident and everyone is back to normal now. I pray nobody will experience this in their home.
