It's been a while since I had a post here in the community and it would be my first post for this year 2025. This post happened last 2023 and it was our third wedding anniversary.
Being a working couple, it would be hard to celebrate anniversaries during weekdays because literally, we had work to do. In our first year as a married couple, we did not celebrate it extravagantly because we did not save the budget for it during that year, it was the first year where we lived separately from our in-laws and we spent most of our budget in the house and the weather felt the sentiment of it that the weather during that time was not good.
Our second anniversary falls during weekdays, so we had work to do but we memorably spent our anniversary by having a dinner out in one of the expensive restaurants in Bogo City in our dictionary, the Machu Pichu Restaurant.
But on our third wedding anniversary, since three years is an achievement, I told my husband that we must celebrate it more memorable compared to our first and second anniversaries.
So, even though it falls during working days, we took a one-day leave because we wanted to have a one-night stay at any beach resort near us.
We found an affordable beach resort near us using the Agoda App, which was the Pofer Beach Resort located in San Remegio, Cebu and yes, we had one stay at the resort.
We had a great third wedding anniversary at that time. No worries. Just US.
