Recently, I deployed the ARCHON:ARCHONM pool, as reported in this post. I didn't want to jump the gun, but I believe under certain circumstances, moves like these can be worth more than the 1000 BEE tokens to create the pool.
At the risk of speaking too soon, I will show why I think this LP has helped ARCHON token climb in price while HIVE is pumping.
It turns out that this low circulation token is pretty well set up. I remember those days, as some of you archon members might, when ARCHON was set up very responsibly, with low amounts and low inflation. Frankly this tribe has less than 1M tokens still. Token necromancy is much easier if the fundamentals are good.
Looking at the graph above, we can see that there is less volatility. I am not sure if the bots feel more comfortable with two pools, and thus supply more liquidity, or if someone recently learned to use the pool, but its worth noting.
We track the main trend line, just over and around 0.01 hive, and as of typing our price point, according to the pool, is 0.017+ hive per ARCHON token.
Even people who would dump to this 0.0168 bid would feel good right now. The best part is that this is a bot. No one in the ARCHON community had to remember to support the ARCHON price here, this liquidity is loaned from the hive-engine community, by way of arbitrage bots.
The "deeper" liquidity gets, the more these bots can "loan" to the market.

I run a hive-engine witness, @locolombia, and for it I earn BEE. I pay HBD for server costs, and sometimes I dump this BEE for money, but mostly I try to put it to work. Honestly, this Christmas I was planning on dumping the BEE, but in my heart I saw an opportunity to support this project in a strong way at a crucial time.
So I want to sell these BEE to the project.

So after discussion with the community, we decided to use some small amounts of HIVE to support the ARCHONM price. This allowed us to get a number of ARCHONM for less than 5 HIVE price. I will use 5 HIVE as the price for the ARCHONM, and pay myself in ARCHONM.
How much is 1000 BEE worth? This is a trickier question than it sounds, in the range mentioned, its somewhere between 290 and 400 HIVE. HIVE has been very volatile lately!
Since I was planning on dumping for Christmas, I think its okay to be conservative and assume I would have dumped at the worst time, and so we can calculate 290 HIVE for these 1000 BEE.
Which totals 58 ARCHONM for 1000 BEE. This is price-point positive for our archon-gov account, on the cheapest BEE price this month - and I think everyone benefits here.
We've managed to pick up over 70 of them for 5 HIVE each or less, and you can see them above. I will send myself 58 now.
Generally I think the fundamentals continue forward very well. Yes there is a lot of things we can do in 2025, a very long list in fact. But in the meantime, I think 2024 turned out to be a pretty good year for ARCHON.
