What if you kept making rods of absorption, and stacked them end to end, until they wrapped around the world?

We are going to use 2 feet because otherwise it wouldn't make sense that George here is holding one:
George is small, not tiny or diminuitive after some upgrades over the levels, but still there must be some forced perspective going on here if that rod is 2 feet long!
Anyway, we asked "How big is Golarion" and google gave us this forum, where we read:

There is no reason to physically go around the planet tho....
More likely Eco the Exploiter's demiplane, create greater demiplane being a great candidate for the Caster Level spell exploit.
