Greetings to everyone in the Lifestyle community! Today I am joining today to share with you one of the most important moments of this year 2025, as I finally concluded my theoretical and practical classes at the institute where I was studying to become a Dental Assistant. Although at this point I have the option to get my certification immediately, I wish first of all to be able to do my internships and then be able to have the certificate registered with the M.P.P.E. It is the necessary endorsement. Fortunately, the institute helps to locate dental offices where students can do their internships. As I am already working in the area, I will do them in the same office and with someone I trust. Being something beneficial but not essential because the internships are precisely for that, to fill us with experience in the work field, whether we are with someone known or not.

El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes uno de los momentos más importantes de este año 2025, pues finalmente concluí mis clases teóricas y prácticas en el instituto donde estudiaba para ser Asistente de Odontología. Aunque en este punto tengo la opción de obtener mi certificación inmediatamente, deseo ante todo poder hacer mis pasantías y luego poder tener el certificado registrado en el M.P.P.E. Es el aval necesario. Por suerte, en el instituto ayudan a localizar consultorios odontológicos dónde los estudiantes puedan hacer sus pasantías. Cómo yo ya estoy trabajando en el área, las realizaré en el mismo consultorio y con alguien de confianza. Siendo algo beneficio pero no imprescindible pues las pasantías son precisamente para eso, para llenarnos de experiencia en el campo laboral, ya que estemos con alguien conocido o no.
So today we all gathered to have our last class of the course. The girls who had yet to make a presentation on one of the contents of the class, went on to make a presentation. Then we debated on the topics exposed throughout the course, where we were able to know the points of view of all the classmates. It was pleasant because in a certain way many of us agreed on several points, such as the fact that the Dental Assistant is a multidisciplinary professional who attends many activities that must be fulfilled with responsibility, assertiveness and rigor. Sometimes he/she is not given the corresponding merit in spite of all the skills and competencies that he/she must have to practice. However, it is good to know that little by little there are more opportunities to be academically accredited and to make their work worthwhile.
Por lo que hoy todos nos reunimos para tener nuestra última clase del curso. Las chicas que faltaban por hacer una presentación sobre uno de los contenidos de la clase, pasaron a hacer una exposición. Luego debatimos sobre los temas expuestos a lo largo del curso, dónde pudimos conocer los puntos de vistas de todos los compañeros. Fue agradable pues en cierta forma muchos coincidimos en varios puntos, cómo el hecho de que el Asistente Odontológico es un profesional multidisciplinario y que atiende muchísimas actividades que debe cumplir con responsabilidad, asertividad y rigurosidad. A veces no se le da el mérito correspondiente a pesar de todas las habilidades y competencias que debe tener para ejercer. Sin embargo, es bueno saber que poco a poco existen más oportunidades para acreditarse académicamente y hacer valer su labor.
Later they explained to us the points to carry out the internships, the evaluation guidelines and so on. We also had a little sharing, eating and chatting outside the subject of the course. It is curious because it was only in the last month that we were able to get to know each other better. It must be the fact that even before we were more colleagues and in the end there were only seven of us left. It is a pity because many withdrew just a few weeks before the end of the course. However, the point is that we were able to make it and many will do the internships, so it is likely that at some point we will coincide. I am very happy for the classmates with whom I was able to share and for my teacher, who was very kind and patient with all of us. Más tarde nos explicaron los puntos para realizar las pasantías, las pautas de evaluación y demas. También hicimos un pequeño compartir, comiendo y charlando ya fuera del tema del curso. Es curioso porque justo ya en este mes pasado es que pudimos conocernos más. Debe ser el hecho de que también antes éramos más compañeros y al final solo quedamos siete personas. Es una lastima porque muchos se retiraron justo faltando pocas semanas para terminar el curso. Sin embargo la cuestión es que pudimos lograrlo y muchos harán las pasantías, así que es probable que en algún momento coincidamos. Me alegro mucho por los compañeros con quiénes pude compartir y por mi profesora, quién fue muy amable y paciente con todos nosotros. Personalmente estoy muy feliz por todo este suceso y espero poder seguir creciendo en el área. Sin más nada que decir muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí.
