Yesterday was the International Day of The Girl Child.
Girl children were celebrated all over the world and it was so heartwarming to see how much the world has changed.
The female gender is not being treated with inferiority like it used to be before.
It's beautiful to see that young girls understand that they are also relevant in today's world.
Today women are achieving great feats and one begins to wonder if these are the same people considered as weak.
I've realized it's all in the mind and every woman who has made impact, started it from her mind, fought for it until it became a reality.
Gender isn't something we choose for ourselves, you came to the world and saw yourself as a girl or boy.
But some people make it seem like female children are not of any importance.
In some parts of Africa,it is still prevalent the preference of the Boy child over the girl.
But thankfully,such mindset is gradually being erased as strong determined women have come together to prove that female children can also make impact and be relevant to the society.
I always tell myself that being a girl is never going to be my limitation but my leverage to shoot for the stars and even farther into the sun.
I am Limitless.
The Girl Child also matters .
She can have equal chances too.
The world can also be her stage and she can stand out.
I am a proud Girl Child.
