El día de ayer estuvo de cumpleaños mi amiga Alejandra, a quien conocí por los eventos de mi anterior proyecto y que desde entonces se ha convertido en una muy buena amiga.
Ella participó como emprendedora en el segundo evento que hicimos y desde entonces hemos mantenido el contacto constante. Nos contamos nuestras vivencias y también ha estado ahí para apoyarme full con sus conocimientos en mis proyectos.
También hemos tenido la oportunidad de compartir en varias ocasiones y cada vez que nos encontramos nos divertimos un montón. Es una gran chica, tiene una personalidad que anima a cualquiera y aprecio mucho la amistad tan sincera que me ha brindado durante casi un año. ♥
Estaba por cumplir 26 años y ella me contó que iba a celebrarlo en un restaurant conocido de la ciudad de Cabimas junto a otros amigos que tenemos en común. Yo, aunque quería asistir se me complicaba mucho por la hora y económicamente no contaba con mucho para hacer los gastos en el transporte y consumo de ese día.
Adicional a eso tenía que me había enfermado la semana pasada y todavía no estaba al 100 para poder disfrutar todo bien. A eso ella me comentó que igual podíamos reunirnos ese día más temprano, lo que me pareció genial porque igual podríamos celebrar su cumpleaños juntas. Coordinamos todo para encontrarnos en una heladería llamada Nany.

I was about to turn 26 and she told me that she was going to celebrate it in a well-known restaurant in the city of Cabimas with other friends we have in common. Although I wanted to attend, it was very complicated for me because of the time and economically I did not have much to make the expenses in transportation and consumption of that day.
In addition to that I had gotten sick last week and I was still not at 100 to be able to enjoy everything well. She told me that we could still meet earlier that day, which I thought was great because we could still celebrate her birthday together. We arranged to meet at an ice cream parlor called Nany.
Era mi primera vez visitando esta heladería, de la cual existen 2 sedes más, al llegar ella venía todavía en camino, así que me quedé explorando un poco sus espacios.

Habían muchos sabores, y yo la verdad tenía cero ánimos de pedir algo con mucho sabor por el malestar que aún sentía. Aparte los sabores aún no han vuelto del todo a mi pues perdí un poco el sentido del gusto jajaja.
After talking for a while, receiving an unexpected visit from a friend of hers and catching up on our experiences, we went to order ice cream.
There were many flavors, and I really had zero desire to order something with a lot of flavor because of the discomfort I was still feeling. Besides, the flavors still haven't come back to me because I lost my sense of taste a little bit hahaha.
Pedí uno que era de Oreo, pero a lo que menos me supo fue a Oreo. Nos fuimos a sentar, hicimos un pequeño brindis y continuamos hablando.

No podíamos demorar mucho porque Ale debía irse temprano para poder arreglarse para la celebración de la noche. Así que aprovechamos al máximo el tiempo y ya luego ella pasó un mensaje para que la fueran a buscar.
Fue un día muy agradable y diferente definitivamente. Tenía mucho tiempo que no compartía el cumpleaños de una amiga y me pareció genial hacerlo, pues siempre que salgo es a hacer diligencias o trabajar y no a salir para disfrutar con amigos.
En definitiva estaré inventando más planes así a futuro. ♥
We couldn't take too long because Ale had to leave early to get ready for the evening celebration. So we made the most of the time and then she sent a message to pick her up.
It was definitely a very nice and different day. It had been a long time since I had shared a friend's birthday and I thought it was great to do so, since I always go out to run errands or work and not to go out to enjoy with friends.
I will definitely be coming up with more plans like this in the future. ♥
Ya luego se fue y yo decidí irme caminando de ahí hasta la avenida principal para tomar el transporte de regreso, que aunque es un tramo largo yo solía recorrerlo años atrás con amigos y con mi esposo cuando éramos novios, pues mi casa quedaba relativamente cerca y esta es una zona muy visitada por todos los que vivimos en los alrededores.
Me divertí mucho, aunque me hubiera gustado estar al 100 por ciento, pero ya luego tendremos oportunidad de repetir este plan y ya ahí si podré disfrutar bien de mi helado. ♥
Then he left and I decided to walk from there to the main avenue to take the transport back, which although it is a long stretch I used to walk it years ago with friends and my husband when we were dating, because my house was relatively close and this is a very visited area by all of us who live in the surroundings.
I had a lot of fun, although I would have liked to be 100 percent, but later we will have the opportunity to repeat this plan and then I will be able to enjoy my ice cream. ♥
