Mañana es el gran día. Por fin será el día del taller Pinta y Siembra. El primero por parte de mi marca Lakrearte. ☺️✨
Estoy sumamente emocionada por eso y como les he venido comentando los últimos días, he estado trabajando fuertemente para que todo quede perfecto, cuidando cada detalle y poniendo todo mi empeño.
Anoche, mientras tejía los recuerditos que entregaré a los participantes del taller, le pedí a mi esposo que me ayudara a escribir una lista de las cosas que debía hacer hoy.
Me faltaba comprar cosas, hacer unos diseños, escribirle a unas personas. En fin una larga lista de tareas que me despertó desde muy temprano para comenzar a salir de todo eso.
Hice las primeras cosas y luego del almuerzo salí en compañía de mi hijo a hacer unas diligencias.

I am extremely excited about it and as I have been telling you the last few days, I have been working hard to make everything perfect, taking care of every detail and putting all my effort.
Last night, while I was knitting the souvenirs that I will give to the participants of the workshop, I asked my husband to help me write a list of the things I had to do today.
I had to buy things, make some designs, write to some people. In short, a long list of tasks that woke me up very early in the morning to start getting out of it all.
I did the first things and after lunch I went out with my son to run some errands.
Salimos casi a las 4 de la tarde porque estaba armando los documentos que iba a imprimir.
Le escribí a las personas que hacen impresiones y me comentaron que no tenían cartulina 😓. Me hacía falta para hacer los certificados y el logo que quería imprimir en grande para colocar como decoración en la actividad.
Por suerte en una tienda que venden papelería me dijeron que tenían, así que mi primera parada ahí.
Al llegar nos dimos cuenta que estaba cerrada, por suerte no faltaba mucho para que abriera.
We left almost at 4 o'clock in the afternoon because I was putting together the documents I was going to print.
I wrote to the people who do printing and they told me that they didn't have any cardboard 😓. I needed it to make the certificates and the logo that I wanted to print large to place as decoration in the activity.
Luckily at a store that sells stationery they told me they had some, so my first stop there.
When we got there we realized it was closed, luckily it wasn't long before it opened.
Luego de unos minutos esperando por fin nos abrieron la tienda y pudimos comprar las cartulinas. De ahí nos fuimos a la casa dónde íbamos a imprimir
El sol estaba realmente fuerte pero no quedaba de otra. En el camino nos cruzamos con la nueva imagen del excolegio de mi hijo.
Luego de años esperando que por fin pudieran darle una nueva imagen, con las últimas elecciones hasta el nombre de lo cambiaron jaja fue una locura.
After a few minutes of waiting they finally opened the store and we were able to buy the cardstock. From there we went to the house where we were going to print the cards.
The sun was really strong but there was no other way. On the way we came across the new image of my son's former school.
After years of waiting for them to finally give it a new image, with the last elections even the name was changed haha it was crazy.
Llegamos y ya la chica tenía algunas cosas que le envié impresas y luego se fue a imprimir lo de las cartulinas.
Me había entendido mal y faltaron otras cositas por lo que nos tocó esperar otros minutos más. Por suerte estábamos sentados dentro de la casa.
We arrived and the girl already had some things that I sent her printed and then she went to print the cards.
She had misunderstood me and other things were missing, so we had to wait another few minutes. Luckily we were sitting inside the house.
De ahí nos fuimos a otra tienda a hacer unas compras y finalmente nos fuimos a casa.
Todavía tenía más de la mitad de las tareas sin tachar, así que debía continuar haciendo.
Me senté a cortar los certificados, también unas pequeñas tarjetas de presentación y a pegar y acomodar el logo sobre un cartón.
From there we went to another store to do some shopping and finally went home.
I still had more than half of the tasks left to do, so I had to keep doing them.
I sat down to cut out the certificates, also some small business cards and to glue and arrange the logo on cardboard.
Otra cosa que hice fue limpiar todos las macetitas y acomodarlas en la caja para mañana. Estaban algo llenas de polvo, que aunque van a tener tierra obviamente, quiero que estén impecables cuando lleguen a manos de sus dueños.
Los recuerditos estaban listos (bueno todavía me falta tejer 2), y ya podía colocarles la cuerda.
Pensé en que fueran llaveros pero la verdad casi ningun niños tiene llaves para colgar en ellos, así que preferí hacerlos colgantes para sus bolsos escolares o para que lo cuelguen donde quieran. ☺️
Utilicé una cinta colorida que tenía desde hace tiempo y que descubrí hoy buscando una solución para esto.
Another thing I did was to clean all the pots and put them in the box for tomorrow. They were a bit dusty, and although they will obviously have dirt on them, I want them to be impeccable when they get to their owners.
The souvenirs were ready (well, I still need to knit 2), and I could put the string on them.
I thought about making them as key chains, but the truth is that almost no kids have keys to hang on them, so I preferred to make them pendants for their school bags or to hang them wherever they want. ☺️
I used a colorful ribbon that I had for some time and discovered today looking for a solution for this.
Luego empaqué los recuerditos en una bolsita y ya podemos decir que tenemos casi todo listo. Pero como dije antes todavía debo tejer dos más.
Bueno logré terminar las dos tapitas, solo me falta unir y rellenar para oficialmente terminar con ellos.
Quisiera hacerle unos detalles más pero no sé si me de tiempo. Mi esposo me dice que así están bien pero yo soy muy maniática jaja ya veremos qué pasa mañana.
Por ahora voy a descansar está vista y estás manos porque mañana será un largo pero exitoso día. Deseenme suerte 🍀✨
Then I packed the souvenirs in a little bag and we can say that we have almost everything ready. But as I said before I still have to knit two more.
Well, I managed to finish the two caps, I just need to join and stuff them to officially finish them.
I would like to do some more details but I don't know if I have time. My husband tells me that they are fine but I'm very fussy haha we'll see what happens tomorrow.
For now I'm going to rest this view and these hands because tomorrow will be a long but successful day. Wish me luck 🍀✨
