Desde hace más de una semana Elieska y yo quedamos en reunirnos con unas personas en Ciudad Ojeda, y hoy era la cita a las 10 de la mañana.
El motivo de la reunión es que estamos organizando un último evento Convinarte pero está vez en alianza con dichas personas para reunir fondos para beneficiar el hospital de la ciudad.
Digo que es el último Convinarte porque posiblemente así lo sea, pero eso es algo de lo que les estaré hablando en las publicaciones de las próximas semanas.
Debíamos reunirnos para hablar algunas cosas y además aprovechar para grabar contenido para darle promoción al evento.

Since more than a week ago Elieska and I arranged to meet with some people in Ciudad Ojeda, and today was the appointment at 10 am.
The reason for the meeting is that we are organizing one last Convinarte event but this time in alliance with those people to raise funds to benefit the hospital of the city.
I say it's the last Convinarte because it probably will be, but that's something I'll be telling you about in the next few weeks' posts.
We had to get together to talk about some things and also take the opportunity to record content to promote the event.
Al salir de casa me di cuenta que había un tiempo terrible de lluvia que se veía estaba cayendo en Ciudad Ojeda.
A pesar de ese clima me fui caminando directo a la avenida para tomar el transporte público.
As I left the house I realized that there was a terrible rainy weather that I could see was falling in Ciudad Ojeda.
Despite the weather I walked straight to the avenue to take public transportation.
Normalmente tengo dinero de sobra para mis pasajes, pero el día de hoy estaba algo justa pues solo tenía 80 bs.
El primer transporte no me quiso llevar por ese precio pero en el segundo tuve suerte.
Al comenzar a preguntarle al chófer si estaba de acuerdo en aceptar mis 40 bs, me di cuenta que este era un primo de mi esposo, cosa que me cayó como anillo al dedo. Para mí suerte aceptó llevarme.

Al comentarle a Elieska ella me dijo casi que en shock que ella también había olvidado llevar los materiales 😂😂.
Las dos olvidamos por completo que debíamos llevar esas cosas para poder grabar el vídeo.
Para nuestra suerte había una tienda cerca del restaurant que vendía casi todos los implementos necesarios. Así que compramos un lienzo pequeño, pinturas y una paleta mezcladora.
Then something funny happened on the way. I remembered that I completely forgot that I was supposed to bring some canvases for the promotional video.
When I told Elieska she told me almost in shock that she had also forgotten to bring the materials 😂😂.
We both completely forgot that we had to bring those things in order to shoot the video.
To our luck there was a store near the restaurant that sold almost all the necessary implements. So we bought a small canvas, paints and a mixing paddle.
Caminamos solo unos metros y fue cuando ví este negocio que era una piñateria. Decidí ir hacia allá porque algo me decía que ahí ibamos a encontrar el pincel que nos faltaba.
Efectivamente había pinceles y una vez estuvo hecha la compra, estábamos listas para reunirnos con estás personas.
We walked just a few meters and that's when I saw this business that was a piñateria. I decided to go there because something told me that there we were going to find the brush we were missing.
Indeed there were brushes and once the purchase was done, we were ready to meet with these people.
Al salir de la reunión, Elieska me dijo que la acompañara a comer y mientras ella pedía me encontré con una vieja compañera de curso.
A ella le regalé una de nuestras tortugas y fue chévere haberla visto porque pude saber cómo seguía nuestra vieja tortuga.
After leaving the meeting, Elieska told me to join her for lunch and while she was ordering I ran into an old classmate of mine.
I gave her one of our turtles and it was great to see her because I could see how our old turtle was doing.
Así terminó la salida luego de este increíble desayuno. Les estaré compartiendo en otro momento parte de la reunión con nuestros amigos de la fundación.
This is how the outing ended after this incredible breakfast. I will be sharing with you another time part of the meeting with our friends from the foundation.
