The Graduation Ended With Flying Colors (Not An Ending, But A Beginning)

The last day marked a bittersweet moment, filled with a mix of happiness and excitement, and we all were ready to embark on a new journey.

The 9th of June marked a special day in my life where I ended my course with flying colors. I didn't expect it at the beginning because there were more than a hundred students in our batch, and I thought I didn't study well because I was rather busy at work.

Before graduation, we prepared for the first and last examination. That covered the entire 18 lessons. Our toga arrived alongside the answer sheets. Seeing it made me even more excited. As if I were a young student who would graduate at last. As if I hadn't already been one twice, this was my third time. I guess I enjoy studying again and again. It never bore me. And if another opportunity arises, I will gladly study again. That keeps my brain occupied. I might not develop dementia when I become older, lol.

Whether it's a full course or just a training course, I take it seriously and will be prepared for everything, even the exam. I simply do not want my efforts and money to be wasted.

Throughout this course, I have met some people that I will remember long beyond school. The practical examinations drew us closer together and let us get to know one another. It's always part of the journey, and it molds our experience. I learned about their unique personal stories and why they chose to take the course. And, like me, they have goals and ambitions for their lives.

After the examination, a wave of joy and excitement weeps through the room. We got ready for the graduation ceremony. Each was excited to wear their toga. Some were new to it. I loved hearing their happiness and joy.

The ceremony then began, followed by a photoshoot. A professional photographer was invited, and I really like his camera and photos. It started with the awarding of the Top 5 students. Those who scored the highest in the examination. We were joking in the back, and some acknowledged that they might not reach the top. But some hoped for it because top students would receive a gift. I, on the other hand, want to be one of them. But it was also okay if not. I did my best, and that is all I know.

It was wonderful to call out the student numbers rather than names one at a time. Fifth and fourth were called out, but I hadn't heard my student number yet. I've already accepted it and decided to move on. However, in the third place, I heard a familiar student number. I checked my ID, and it was indeed mine. I gladly received the award with gratitude in my heart and a bright smile on my lips.

Me with our Nurse teacher. The gift to top students was new stethoscopes. It may be nothing for others, and I have one already at home, but I will value it. It's proof that I did well in this course. Being in the top 5 out of more than a hundred students is quite rewarding.

This large group needs a spacious room for photoshoots, lol. Nonetheless, it was a happy moment. The room was filled with happiness and laughter.

So this graduation ceremony was also a culmination of happiness and memories, filled with gratitude and accomplishments. It isn't a farewell for us, but the beginning of a new journey. And we're ready to embrace the possibilities that lie beyond 😊. Until I see you again, dreamers!
