All of us make an effort just to have amazing memories. Some tend to spend their time at the seaside, telling stories while hearing the splashing waves. While others shared a cup of coffee with loved ones and had a heartfelt conversation. Everyone has a different way of spending moments, but how do you make them unforgettable?
Last night, my husband decided to go outside. Of course, it would not be complete without our two babies.
At first, we went to the night market, buying some food, for a snack and my son's dinner.
I bought peanuts, fried rice with pancit, boiled eggs, and some of the "tusok-tusok".
These foods are so simple, just right for a light snack. Costs P30 for the tusok-tusok, P24 for the 3 boiled eggs, P20 for the peanuts, and P30 for the fried rice with pancit. With a total of P104. Just $2 for the evening stroll.
After buying the food at the night market, I thought we were going home. But naaaaah, my hubby said we're eating it at the park. Which made me excited as I always wanted to stay outside.
At The Park
The park at night is so peaceful. Some people are roaming around, but enough to count on fingers. You can see a couple, an unaccompanied, and a bestie... All of them have different vibes but enjoy themselves in their own plans.
We chose a bench where we could start eating the food we bought. I started to munch the hotdog on the "tusok-tusok". I still loved the juiciness plus the savor of the sauce. Just perfect to start this light snack.
While my husband and my son started to eat the pancit with fried rice.
That would be my son's dinner. Plus the boiled egg, and the hotdog. That can be a heavy meal for him.
We decided to give him dinner because he would surely sleep on the way home. So, instead of giving him a snack, it should be a packed meal.
I love how bright the night is because of this building. They designed it last Christmas but maintained it till now. That gives a beautiful atmosphere while staying in the park.
While enjoying the food, we also got entertained by our kids and had hubby and wifey moments.
We talked about how the day went and how our parents had made an effort for us before. Just like us today, my parents brought us to the park before... Enjoying each other's company. As a kid, I enjoyed it and consider it an unforgettable memory that I will forever cherish.
I hope our kids will remember that night, too, when they get older and consider it simple but unforgettable.
That's why, I appreciated how my hubby wanted us to bond as a family. We can't do it in the morning, because of work... But that can't stop us from creating precious memories at night.
So yeah.
The night is getting dark, and we should go home, too. Thanks for stopping by and spending the night with us.
