After taking selfies on the road last Wednesday, at a distance the car we were riding stuck in the mud.
How sad it is that we were stuck for a while in the middle of nowhere but turned out to be a blessing in disguise and a great adventure, as well as a delightful walk.

However, my excitement has quickly waned when we encountered a muddy section of the road. There were no warning signs and little did we know about the treacherous terrain that lay ahead.
In just a few seconds, our car became stuck. The wheels were spinning in the thick mud which made us trapped for a while.
At first, I panic but when we got home, my brother was tipsy, he was not driving the car moderately until we bumped into an area surrounded by mud.
Surrounding us is an open field with no pineapples planted and it was a bit gloomy on the other side.
I was worried then with no immediate solution at hand. We had no choice but to accept our situation and I even tried to push the car while my brother drove it backward.
Meanwhile, I remembered that while on our way, we passed by workers in the fields. So I stepped out of the car and had to take a walk at a distance together with my brother’s wife and went to the area where they were staying.
While on my way, I simply embraced the unexpected turn of events as an opportunity for a breathtaking walk.
Although I was worried, I enjoyed the scenic views and soon discovered some hidden gems that would have remained unseen if our car had not been trapped in the mud.
As I go along the way into the countryside, the idyllic scenery mesmerized me. So some candid shots and selfies were captured so timely. And here are some of them.
Indeed it was a delightful experience as I see big pineapples in vibrant green fields.

These pineapples were owned by Del Monte and they are for sale but only workers are allowed to pick them.
Even if the pineapples were so enticing, I did not touch them because I might be penalized. So better not touch them and just for my eyes only.
As you could see, many parts of the field were tired by knots which means they are guarded and not for any visitor to pick.
And along the fields, I have noticed a sign. Honestly, I could not understand its writing.
I wondered what they mean but I think they were only coded for the workers to be familiarized with what area they will be working.
I so love the idyllic view as the place was surrounded by big and sweet pineapples. Afterward, I took some selfies beside the sign at the field.
Indeed, the beauty of nature is so mesmerizing that made me feel a sense of awe and it was a moment of pure serenity.
After a moment, I arrived at the place where the workers were staying and asked for their help to rescue us.
When I arrived, they were all resting and they were all ready to be picked up by the company bus.
But I talked to them that we were stuck in the mud. Then they responded to me and helped me.
When the company bus came, the driver help us together with some of the workers.
And after the rescue, we were all happy that finally, the car was not stuck in the mud anymore.
Just before we went home, I was happy to be given pineapple and corn by the workers there.
Before we left, I thank them so much for helping us without expecting anything. I must say that they had a pure heart always ready to help.
I never left the place without taking a photo at the side where we got trapped in the mud and here I am smiling despite what had happened.
And then after we went to my brother’s house. We sliced the pineapples and grilled the corn together with the fish that we bought on our way.
The pineapples were so tasty because of their sweetness. And its ripeness was just enough.
So here we are now, grilling the corn and the fish for our dinner.
When they were all cooked we had a happy dinner along with the foods that our friend let us bring home from the fiesta.
So aside from the grilled corn and fish, we also have the Lechon, menudo, and chocolate cakes. We often call it “bring house foodies” during a festive celebration when the owner of the house lets us bring something as we go home.
After we have dined, I went home and I captured the beautiful display in the sky when the Moon and stars shone so brightly with the clouds that seemed like pieces of cotton.
Perhaps this day had a lot of unforgettable experiences and it was like having a great detour as ventured off the beaten path that transformed into an adventure filled with unexpected challenges and remarkable moments.
