My son has been asking for a Minecraft Lego set for a while, and I promised him one if he did well in school. The good news is that he got a small reward for his excellence a few days ago. Now, I have to keep my promise!
That's what took us to the Tokyo Square Shopping Mall. While I did not intend to buy the set that day but explored various options. I also searched online for a better price. But the stores have much more variety for sure.
Let me share my hunting!
I knew there were a few toy stores on the mall's ground floor. I usually avoid them, you know, how kids react seeing the vibrant toy-packed stores. Lol. But this time, we went inside to see what they had.
The stores were packed with all kinds of toys and gift items. Also, they got home decor products, cards, wallmates, etc. It would be a perfect place for people who love shopping and recording their homes.
Also, it's festive season so there were many customers at the stores. Usually, they charge a little higher than other places. But they have many options and the quality is good.
My son went crazy seeing all the collection. The stores were truly packed with different products. He even found a similar watch that he had.
These were the collections we were eyeing.
The price of them was from $5-$50 according to the size and pieces.
We choose this one to buy later. It would be $20. My son saw one online with a little different detail. So he was not sure if he should buy this one.
We will search for the right one a little more, online and offline, and then buy what his heart says.
But I was looking at their car collection. Oh, I would buy the Hot Wheels set if I were a kid. It will be too much for an adult, no? Or should I? lol
Nevertheless, this was a fun adventure. The price tag of some products sure took our breath but seeing all the collections in one place was kind of satisfying although we bought none.
But we sure will in the next week or so. My little one can't wait to bring the tiny Legos of Minecraft into reality!
