Espero de corazón que muy bien, deseo que tengan en sus vidas mucho amor y prosperidad, hoy quiero hablarles de mi árbol de Merey, y no, no es exactamente mío, estaba grande y fuerte cuando me mude acá, pero digo que es mío por qué actualmente lo cuido, además sus troncos son usados por mis gatos para escalar, la cuestión es que nunca había conocido uno en persona y menos que menos ver sus frutos, los cuales, en mi ignorancia pensaba que solo nacían las semillas y listo, ya que lo que conozco desde que tengo uso de razón es la semilla del Merey, jamás imagine que era también una fruta, la cual se forma junto a esa semilla y que esta fruta, en un consumo prudente, es beneficiosa..
Cuando el árbol comenzó a formar los frutos, estaba impresionada, pues como les dije, no sabía que daba frutos, una vez comenzaron a madurar, también empezaron a caer, diariamente, un montón, así que comenzamos a bajarlos a diario uno a uno, para que no se llenara el suelo ni mancharan los carros, pues son súper jugosas y ese líquido mancha cualquier superficie, y es una mancha difícil de quitar.
Para mi otra sorpresa muchos margariteños no habían probado su fruto antes, así que todo este tiempo hemos estado regalando a los vecinos y amigos cercanos, incluso, le he llevado mucho a una amiga que es de África, quien no los había probado desde que era niña, por lo que se puso extremadamente feliz cada vez que le llevaba un poco, esta fruta es muy buena para la garganta dicen muchos, pero su consumo extremo puede llegar a ser peligroso, o si bebes mucho alcohol y comes mucho fruto de Merey también, a mí en particular no me gusta su sabor ni olor jajajaja, huele a pies sudados y s sabor es dulce-ácido y te seca la boca, pero sé que a muchos les encanta y mueren por probarlo, mi árbol aún está dando frutos, lleva aproximadamente 3 meses así.
