I will tell you that today was a great day. Work went smoothly, which is always a relief. I went to the Unik hotel to measure the chlorine levels in the pool. Even though the weekend had passed, everything was perfect and in order, which fills me with satisfaction and great peace of mind.
After finishing my work, I waited for my husband to pick me up. When he arrived, I was happy to know that he had already picked up our son. Today he went to his class in a friend's car because it started raining a little bit, but then the sun came out.
Les contaré que hoy fue un día estupendo. El trabajo fluyó sin contratiempos, lo cual siempre es un alivio. Fui al hotel Unik a medir los niveles del cloro en la piscina. A pesar de que había pasado el fin de semana, todo estaba perfecto y en orden, lo cual me llena de satisfacción y gran tranquilidad.
Al terminar mi trabajo, esperé a que mi esposo pasara por mí. Cuando llegó, me alegró saber que ya había recogido a nuestro hijo. Hoy él fue a su curso en el automóvil de una amiga porque amaneció lloviendo un poco, pero después salió un sol radiante.
Since the three of us were together, we decided to go to lunch at the Rio market. This way, we also had time until RMW opened in Porlamar, where we were going to pick up a shipment. Lunch was quite delicious, as we each chose what we wanted the most. We enjoyed a good time with the family, talking and laughing, which is always a blessing in the midst of our busy routines, to culminate our lunch we ordered some delicious sweets.

Disfrutamos de un buen rato en familia, conversando y riendo, lo cual siempre es una bendición en medio de nuestras rutinas ajetreadas, para culminar nuestro almuerzo pedimos unos dulces muy deliciosos.

Nuestro hijo estaba muy ansioso porque, entre las cosas que había encargado, venía algo muy especial. After picking up the package, we set out to return home. First, however, we stopped by my father's house, who wanted to show me two hummingbird nests that the birds had built high up in the coconut plant.
From my point of view, the nests looked beautiful. Too bad I couldn't get much closer to appreciate whether they had chicks or eggs. Still, it was a wonderful sight to see how these little creatures had found a home in these beautiful palm trees.
Después de recoger el paquete, nos dispusimos a regresar a casa. Sin embargo, primero pasamos por la casa de mi padre, quien quería mostrarme dos nidos de colibrí que las aves habían construido en las alturas de la planta de coco.

We had a nice time with my dad, chatting and catching up. It is always comforting to share time with family.
We decided to go home to rest after this intense day of work and activity.
