How are you dear friends, I am feeling well and I wish you a great day. Here I am with you again to tell you how my day went.
I had to work today, but it was pretty quick, so I came home early. The day was rainy and very gray. They are not usually the most plentiful on the Island, nor are they my favorite days. When that happens, I only go out if I have to.
Cómo están queridos amigos, yo me encuentro bien y les deseo un día genial. Aquí estoy otro día con ustedes para contarles cómo fue mi día.
Tuve que trabajar hoy, pero fue bastante rápido, así que regresé temprano a casa. El día estaba lluvioso y muy gris. No suelen ser los que más abundan en la Isla, ni tampoco son los días que más me gustan. Cuando eso ocurre, solo salgo si es necesario.
When we got home, we were all kind of dull and a bit lazy, because certainly none of us at home like gloomy and rainy days. Until, in the afternoon, my husband encouraged us to go for a walk to the Costa Azul shopping center. He gave us as justification that the bread from the Sigo market was his favorite and was already sold out. Anyway, we got ready and went out for the tour. The city looked great at night; I love lighted spaces.
Al llegar a casa, todos estábamos como apagados y con un poco de pereza, porque ciertamente a ninguno en casa nos gustan los días sombríos y lluviosos. Hasta que, llegando la tarde, mi esposo nos animó a dar una vuelta al centro comercial Costa Azul. Nos puso como justificación que el pan del mercado Sigo era su preferido y ya se había agotado. En fin, nos alistamos y salimos a dar el recorrido. La ciudad se veía muy bien de noche; adoro los espacios alumbrados.
After walking for a while, we entered the Sigo market to buy bread. Our son invited us to snack on some mini lunches claiming that they are very delicious. Apparently so, because there were only three left and he ordered them.
Después de caminar un rato, entramos al mercado de Sigo para comprar el pan. Nuestro hijo nos invitó a merendar unos mini lunch alegando que son muy deliciosos. Parece que sí, porque solo quedaban tres y él los pidió.
He had us sit down and told us that we were the guests, that he would take care of everything. He waited for the clerk to charge him and warm up the mini lunches, and accompanied them with a malt.
Nos mandó a sentar y nos dijo que nosotros éramos los invitados, que él se ocuparía de todo. Esperó que la dependiente le cobrara y le calentara los mini lunch, y los acompañó con una malta.
For me, that was enough, because the mini lunch is big and loaded with cheese and ham. After that, I can't fit anything else. Of course, I'm not that much of a foodie, but for them this is just a snack and they will come home for dinner, that's a fact 😅.
Para mí, con eso estaba lista, pues es grande el mini lunch y está cargadito de queso y jamón. Después de eso, a mí no me cabe más nada. Claro, yo no soy tan comelona, pero para ellos esto es solo una merienda y llegarán a la casa a cenar, eso es un hecho jajaja 😅.
As we enjoyed our snack, we talked and laughed at my husband's witticisms and my son's stories, who always has one for every occasion. He makes me laugh until my stomach hurts.
Mientras disfrutábamos de la merienda, hablamos y nos reímos de las ocurrencias de mi esposo y los cuentos de mi hijo, que siempre tiene uno para cada ocasión. Él logra que yo ría hasta que me duele el estómago.
From being a dull and gray day, we went from laughing and having a nice time. That's why I never tire of saying that life must always be seen through the best glass. If you want to see it through a dirty and opaque one, so be it. Well, dear friends, this is how we spend our day doing something different.

De ser un día opaco y gris, pasamos a reírnos y pasar un rato agradable. Por eso no me canso de decir que la vida siempre hay que tratar de verla con el mejor cristal.
