I'll never forget the night I made 100 meat pies for an urgent order. As a small business owner, I always accept urgent work, thinking that if I reject one, who knows when the next opportunity will come? So when a sister called me at 3 pm to order 100 meat pies for an event the next morning, I agreed without hesitation.

After the call, I began to worry about how I'd manage alone, as my usual assistants were on holiday. But before I could change my mind, she sent half of the payment, and I felt committed to delivering.
I rushed to the market to buy the necessary ingredients, including carrots, green peas, butter, and meat. After attending church that evening, I started preparing the fillings, completing them by midnight. Then, I began working on the meat pie skins, using my charcoal oven since I don't have an electric one.

I was grateful that the charcoal burned well, allowing me to bake 46 pies in the first batch. And the second batch 42pies. Left with 12 pies. However, the charcoal started to give me trouble during the third batch, slowing down my progress. Despite this, I persevered and eventually completed the remaining pies.
Although I missed the 7 am deadline, I delivered the meat pies by 8 am. The sister was understanding, and the event attendees enjoyed the pies, giving me a good review. I was relieved and happy that I didn't reject the order, as it profited my business and showcased my capabilities. And also if they have another event next times they can give me the work.

This experience taught me that with determination and hard work, I can overcome challenges and achieve my goals. As I always say, 'Anything your mind tells you, you can do, you can actually do it.
Also always trust yourself and your abilities.
