Nursing has Never ever Been a Profession for the weak. What we see in there in the Hospitals, wards and theatres could send a normal human to an Early Grave.
I choose to tag it Profession of The Brave, Strong-Willed, powerful People yet encompassed with so much sympathy and empathy.
Yes Empathy and Sympathy is one of our Watchwords but strength is optimal. Strength is needed to jack your patient if need be, strength is needed to wash wounds in Terrible condition, strength is needed overall in taking care of your patient Even to Death.

My name is @utymarvel ad I would love to reflect on my experiences in the hospital as a student Nurse.
Good Health is priceless and the need for maintaining sound Health cannot be overmphasized. Like about 80% of the things we see in there are as a result of the lifestyle we keep and over some time it becomes an issue for us and even spreads to our offspring.
When patients like these are brought to us, we try every possible best to nurse, care, nurture and keep these people In the most comfortable way we can. It's a beautiful thing to see your Patient recover, especially from a life threatening issue and regain stability and balance.
I have been Working in the paediatric ward for weeks. Most of the cases we had was gastrointestinal tract diseases and more of respiratory disorders. I watched these kids battle with their lives and the mothers were agonizing as well.
One of the most beautiful experiences I had was when I worked in the Paediatric ward.
There's this Baby I had, 2months old and she was suffering from bronchi pneumonia. Her mom was a first time mom with no body to help out. The baby was struggling to breathe as it was severe.
Expression for her Mother's Face was not encouraging. As a first-time mom, she was already scared of her Babys life.
I happened to constantly check up on Them cozzz the bby was always crying. When I started visiting them and carrying the baby for her, both the mother and the baby would be able to Sleep because the baby would be quiet and calm.
It was always like magic. I did that for like three days consecutively. I would go there, feed the baby, play with Her and reassure the mom that the baby will do well.
Lol, she really loved me because to an extent I was able to relieve her of so many Burdens, I would answer her questions, prompt Medications a treatments and other therapeutic treatment for both mother and child.
Well the baby Got way way better and they were discharged, I was kind of teary when they left but they had to go. I was happy and fulfilled tst I was able to be a part of her healing process and render the little help I could.
I believe if you cant really place yourselves in people's shoes and feel what they feel, you would like excel in the Profession, sympathy as well. Nursing is Basically not about giving of drugs and other treatment but also playing a good part in the Healing of Your Patient.
It's gets tiring tho and frustrating especially when your patient is not recovering but you don't really have a choice, the goal is to nurse and Nurture Lives even when you fully know that death is Looming, you continue intensive care and Nursing till death.
