I never really tried different flavors or those more advanced kinds of ice cream aside from chocolate, mango, vanilla, ube, cheese, there's a taro too, strawberry, and peanut. Most of these flavors are the typical flavors the ice cream brand has in the Philippines. You can also get some of these flavors in the "sorbetes" that were sold on the street, it's what we called "dirty ice cream." But it's not dirty, it's just the name. To be honest, I find dirty ice cream more delicious than known-brand ice cream. I enjoyed them more because aside from being delicious, they are much cheaper too, and they have sweat and dus- errrrr - of course, I'm just joking on the dirty part, heh \(^o^)/.
I am used to dirty ice cream rather than those more advanced kinds of ice cream, which really doesn't appeal to me. You know, those with weird combinations of ice cream with toppings of your choice. It's amazing how some foods are continuously evolving. I wish I could try them all as just part of exploring it, but those kinds are really expensive. Well, they also used known products on their toppings, so it's to be expected. And as some ice cream shop owners want to take their ice cream to the next level, they will work on its appearance as well as their ice cream cup and even their spoon, it's very effective though.
That way, more people will be interested in trying their ice cream. It's really just a good strategy, no? And you know, it's not just the kids who're happy with those kinds of ice cream, but also the adults. Ice cream is really a perfect dessert on any occasion, you can have it after a meal if you want to. There's always room for "panghimagas," or dessert, right? Especially for ice cream! Ehe.
Anyway, today's really a special day for me. I have a short trip to Robinson Mall with my two mothers, Mommy F and Mama. This is actually a treat from my mommy F, an early celebration too for my birthday this coming August 29, as she said, uwu. I had a lot of fun today, even though it's super tiring, but what's important is that I had sooooooooo much fun, and I also had a sumptuous food trip with them to different food shops. This is truly a wonderful Wednesday for me and for them. Let me share photos of my Mommy F (Auntie) and Mama (biological Mom) first, the two important people in my life, ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ.
Moving on, inside Robinson Mall, we saw this ice cream shop in one corner, not far from the escalator. Mommy F saw it, and she asked me and Mama if we wanted it. Of course, we'll never say "no" to free food ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ, so it's a yes for us! Lol. Their price varies depending on the size: 8 oz for 65 PHP and 12 oz for 125 PHP. We really just want to try it, so we opted for the smaller size, which is 8 oz.
They have different flavors and different toppings too. We chose avocado cheesecake, that's a first for me, and so with my mother, that's why we chose the same flavors for the three of us. Actually, I can't taste those flavors, huhu. As I've mentioned before in some of my articles, I already lost my sense of taste and smell. - stilllllll, I can enjoy it's sweetness and creaminess, so I still enjoy it to the fullest.
Look at the creamy-licious appearance of that ice cream! And the chunks of avocado are the best! Then a bit of ground peanuts, I love the crunch it has while munching it. And the cheesecake, hmmm, how do I define it's texture? (⊙_◎), ohh, they are a bit crunchy too, and like loaf bread when you soft toast it. Something like that? Overall, it's amazing. I would love to have it again and maybe try the other flavors ┏(^0^)┛.
A tower of ice cream! Ehe. This ice cream is not the soft type, but it says it is soft ice cream. But I'm not sure. The soft ice cream that I know has that foamy texture, but this one is really not foamy. I actually like the ice cream of this brand, sitting aside those toppings and what's inside of it. And it doesn't melt that easily, which is really good because I can take my time eating it. And I really like that there's so much on it compared to some shops that I know. Their product poster is so different from the real thing, it's like we got scammed because of how small their servings are ಥ_ಥ.
And another thing, I really love that their spoon is big and made of bamboo, which is so amazing rather than a plastic spoon. This Miguelitos is really good at showing off its coolness. Seeing these photos made me crave some of their ice cream again, even though we just had it yesterday. It's really a good thing that they are two hours away from me. I'm safe from overspending and having diabetes, lolol ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ
When will I have this ice cream again (⊙_◎), who knows, but I really want it to happen ASAP! But with the super expensive fare, this for sure will happen maybe in 2080, LOLOL. Aigoooo. Anyhow, I had fun with my oldies, and this is one of my favorite moment, it's with them ⟵(๑¯◡¯๑).
