Two stray kitties

This Saturday became a Caturday. See, we dont see much cats around in winter...

We planned a little shopping. On the way back home my daughter suddenly stopped and fingered at this chocolate green-eyed kittie that was sitting quietly by the wall of residential building.

The camera was with me and I took opportunity to take some shots. Caturday is Caturday!

When I approached closer (the cat didn't show the slightest concern about this), I was able to look very closely into her eyes. They were bright green (such a beauty she is!) and full of sadness. Judging by her look, her life might not be called happy.

While I was standing nearby, another cat's head stuck out of the hole in the basement. She turned her head for a while, examining the situation...

...but eventually decided not to go out. The outside was indeed much colder, that the warm basement.

The kind residents are of course happy to see the cats and feed them. In front of the cat's home you see several empty trays (all the food has long been hidden in a more secure place).

Let me round up my blog here. What else can I say? I can only wish you to have more cats around - so that they will please you with their appearance and purring at home... or at least with their abundance in a cat-e-licious areas. A city with many cats can't be that bad!

Haha that cat stuck in the hole and examine the situation looks funny just like a spy 😁😉

I'd say - an experienced skilled 'survivor'
Good they have a warm basement at disposal, and regular treats from the house residents. Life is not sweet in winter.

Yes Winter isn't so easy to survive especially for stray animals

Look out, look around, and choose to stay inside. : )
Both of them are so cute. !PIZZA !hiqvotes

Yeah... the fish seeks spots that are deeper - and cats choose spots that are higher. But a warm spot is always da best !LOLZ !PIZZA 😘

Why did the elevator move into the apartment building?
He wanted to take up residence.

Даааа...жисть такая....

к сожалению...

I'm trying to figure out which is dominant from the pictures. I'm guessing the cat in the house. When we used to feed our ferals (there are only two left) they would have to wait turns to eat. There was a definite pecking order. And it was always the same. The more passive cats would wait off to the side until they had 'permission' to eat.

There was one cat that used to come. Not only was this cat submissive, but it was also tormented by birds (I think they were jays). Whenever the cat would come across the street the jays would swoop down as a group and chase it. He would have to take refuge under the front shrub. They never tormented any of the other cats. He must have disturbed their nest once and they never forgot.

Your cats are cute, but they do look cold :)
