Our precious princess went missing a couple of months ago.
I don't know if you noticed that I started talking about the cats we care for, like three, not four, as they were before she disappeared.
I miss her a lot, of course. I miss her constant presence on my windowsill, her curious activities, her capriciousness.
Oh, yes, she was a capricious cat. Very wayward.
She could lie for hours on the windowsill. That was the time when I could go out to her to pet her.
She also kept me company in all my gardening activities.
And not only.
She accompanied me every time I left the house to throw the garbage, or when I cleared the area around the house of the garbage thrown by the villagers.
She was with me everywhere - my faithful dog, as I called her.
On the other hand, she was so capricious that often, out of nowhere, she wouldn't let me pet her, she ran away from my hand and wouldn't let me touch her.
We thought at the time that someone had probably hit her to behave that way. To be afraid of my hand.
She was a beautiful cat. But on the other hand, she could be very impudent and cunning too. And...
I prefer to think she's somewhere around. I prefer to think someone took her (because she's beautiful 😻). I prefer to think she's alive...
Because I do love her very much and terribly miss her!
Happy #CaturDay to you all!

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
