Better late than never, isn't that what they say! Not quite Beer Saturday, more Beer Sunday.

Then, home for England vs Ireland in the Nations League. Not a bad Sunday, so grab your favourite glass...

Grab your IPA....

Get pouring...

Ye know I like a Hazy Jane, in fact I like everything from the Brewdog stable. They make good beers, it's as simple as that. Brewdog is a go to IPA for me, and I happened to have 3 in the fridge there this evening.

Here's a few snaps before kickoff and I wasn't feeling too confident, but Ireland played really well and could easily have led at half time after having a stonewall penalty waved away. What is the point in VAR if it doesn't help get these decisions right. It's a disgrace.

The inevitable happened second halfz when Liam Scales mistimed a challenge and so England got a penalty and Scales got a second yellow.

They slotted the penalty and have dominated since, and are now 3-0 with 15 minutes left to play.

Anyway enough about the soccer...

Until next time Beer Saturdayorians...

Oh by the way...
