Summer colors and fruity aromas

in #hive-1877196 months ago

The past weekend was very warm, the temperature reached 30°C. It's as if summer has arrived before time (when the calendar says so).

We used the warm (summer-like) day to stay outside the apartment. When we returned, it was necessary to quench our thirst.
And what better way to quench your thirst than a light, well-chilled, fruity beer.

A beer I can now present in the #BeerSaturday challange for week 361.

I take out two cans from the fridge, left over from last week, when I drank an IPA beer, from the same brewery.

These are top fermentation beers:
Tropical ALE and
Meggy ALE, a fruity beer style produced by the Borsodi brewery in Bocs, Hungary.

Tropical ALE is a very light, fruity beer, not watery like Radler, very easy to drink on hot summer days. Quite citrusy, with hints of mango, guava and passion fruit.

Meggy ALE is a juicy cherry ALE that offers a twist of sour and sweet flavors.

Both beers have a phenomenal summer color, which matches the taste of fruity aromas.

A very small percentage of alcohol (only 4%), low bitterness and quite a lot of sweetness, allows you to drink a large amount of this beer, without fear of getting drunk.

Cheers!

Hey @duskobgd, here is a little bit of BEER from @seckorama for you. Enjoy it!

Did you know that <a href='https://dcity.io/cityyou can use BEER at dCity game to buy cards to rule the world.

4% is not small percentage, it's quite average for many beer styles ;)

So far, only Kozel dark has been with a lower alcohol % (3.8). It's usually 4.7%, 4.8% or more. But not over 7%, that's already too strong for me 🙂

Well, here's a list of averages: https://scottjanish.com/average-abv-across-all-beer-styles/ Many beers would be below the average (and still, they are crafted and proper ones, just with lower alcohol content). Sessions are completely missing there, and sours too.

I've had several 10%+ brews, and they vere incredibly sweet ;)

When I was in the Brauhaus brewery in Novi Sad ( https://peakd.com/hive-187719/@duskobgd/a-few-beers-over-the-weekend ) the owner of the brewery, who was also the head beer chef, who took me through all the stages of brewing, told me that he once made beer, according to a recipe he received from abroad, beer with with honey, in which he doubled everything, and thus obtained a very sweet beer with over 10%. That beer, as he told me, was a hit among the girls. who got drunk from him, without even noticing 🙂

Yep, the super strong beers don't usually taste of alcohol, as long as they are brewed properly. They feel heavy and sweet. And sometimes you feel they are not as liquid as they should be, more like syrup than beer :) But that's just a feeling I guess.

Looks good. I'm going to Hungary at the end of the month, and I will try to find this one! !BEER

Borsodi Brewery has more types of beer than the three I have presented. I only found three different cans when I was shopping. They made one with ginger, look for it. These two (although beers), act like juice.
