There are a lot of beerhouses and cafe's all over the world. One thing they have common, they all serve an awesome variety of beers. The second thing they all have in common: they all try to make a place to hang out for a longer period of time.
One thing that 7 Bridges beer café in Ho Chi Min city has is a very cool variety of beers in all different kinds of ways. The thing they totally lacked in this place was atmosphere that made you want to sit there for a longer period of time.
A bummer, because the beers were absolutely awesome!
The brewery
7 Bridges brewing company is originated in 2017 in the city of Da Nang in central Vietnam which is also called 'the city of bridges'. As they say themselves:
Our zero waste initiative, charity activities such as Beer United and cleanup projects in the community form the core IMPACT mission of 7 Bridges Brewing Co. We operate with the mindset of social enterprise with an equal commitment to deliver world class beers.
Ain't that something! Clean up projects! I'm liking this additional side of eco coming to the beer side!
Just look at these variety of difrerent types of beers they have over there. Enough to find something for everyone.
Let's have a closer look to the menu
See one of the beers I ordered was this 'Upcycle' pale ale. Read on what the lable says: 'Made with Waste Pizza'. That's cool right? This beer is made with left over ingredients from pizza. I'm liking these kinds of things!
And what about the other one. A fruity beer with dragonfruit in here. That's a local fruit which literally grows around there everywhere.
Looking at the other beers on the menu you can see there are super cool types of beers. These are surely the ones that I would love to try on a different run as well.
The colours on the beers were good, there were a lot of different types and I am loving the art work that is put into the menu and on the cans as well. Big pro on the marketing side!
Now again all of this would really be all perfect if there was some more atmosphere in the cafe. Because that is something you can not always create. The vibe that the staff has around them, the dressing of the interior, the choice of music.
This place was sterile and we were the only ones there. Maybe this totally different when the place if packed and even some kararoke playing along. But that wasn't the case. And that meant I left faster than intended.
But hey....I saw that you could buy these beers in all kinds of cafes throughout the country, and not only necessarily in this specific bar.
That's a win! Because the beers were awesome!
