The New Beer
I want to be honest with you from the very beginning, don't expect some fancy-ass criticism from me, I will put a link below to the official site and you can find more details about what is the real taste of this beer. My sensors of taste can not analyze all the ingredients of a beer but they can sure tell if I am drinking a really good beer or just piss. So, in this case, we are dealing with an excellent beer, I mean from the very first sip I understood why this beer is much superior and costs more than the ordinary ones. I will try to make a personal ranking system for each beer I am going to review on my posts and this is a solid 8. The old gang & another surprise
I should explain a little bit better the reason I chose these 3 beers. Let's start by saying that the two of them (FIX & Vergina) are from Greece and the third one (Radegast) is from the Czech Republic. I would like to begin with the Radegast because it's not a beer that I drink regularly and you surely can't find it as easy as the other ones around here. I really liked the taste of it and I would totally recommend drinking it on a hot night. I am going to be a little bit harsh and I would rate her 7/10. My favorite Greek beers
Vergina Lager is my personal favorite Greek beer and I can say it with confidence because I have consumed enormous portions of this beer at various festivals and parties throughout my student life. The taste of it is not something special but for some reason, I preferred it among the other lager. I really believe that this is completely subjective but I would totally recommend trying it if you find it in some supermarket or a pub! If I had to rank it I would give it a 7,5/10 because as I said I have a strong bond with this beer and after a certain amount of hangovers with one drink you just fell in love with it😂
As you saw in the photo there was another greek beer the famous Fix Hellas. There is a little story behind this beer and I would try to give you a small recap. The brand Fix was established for the first time in Greece in 1864 in Athens and it was for about 100 years the only big brewery in the country, a big part of that was also that the brand had really close ties with the royal family but at 1983 gone bankrupt and re-opened again in 2009. So my opinion is that the Fix beer remains one of the top quality beers in Greece and I surely recommend of tasting the lager version. My ranking for this one is 6/1.
