Today with @outlinez and our friends we cycled to Mineralni Bani Park in the Vetren district to attend the Metalhead Beer Fest 2024.
This is the fifth year running the festival and we always look forward to visiting and trying new flavors of beers and meeting new brewers.
We arrived at Metalhead Brewery before noon and preparations were still underway for the event.
While we waited for the opening time to come we settled into the great picnic park that is located in the area.
In the early afternoon, the event began. This year, 19 breweries participated - Bulgarian and breweries from Romania, Cyprus, Germany and the Netherlands.
I drank my favorite Metalhead beer with mango, lime and vanilla.
This year I was looking for mango flavors and found another one that was very much to my taste - the Romanian brewery Hop Hooligans.
The beer is Rainbow Eyes and besides mango it also contained ice cream and smoothie sour.
I also tried Kazan Artizan Brewery's mango and jalapeño beer

Besides the beers, there was also good food at the festival.
Interesting flavors I tried were muffin with dark beer and brownie with blue cheese of the Bulgarian company Pavlova.
My friends and I had a great time on the first festival day. Tomorrow the festival continues, so whoever is in the area of the Bulgarian city of Burgas can visit it.
