Eating Samgyupsal With My Friends

It was my first experience with samgyupsal, and it was a treat by my friend, meaning it was FREE. Who doesn't want a free food, right? This happened last December 18, 2023, after having swimming with my friends. It was also my last day at our boarding house near the University in 2023.

Having a samgyupsal with my friends was planned before the Christmas holiday. But I never expected to get treated by my friend. There are four in the group and they are also my circle in the University. Always thankful to them because we are helping each other in academics and having fun at the same time. You will never feel the competition, we always help each other.

The swimming happened on December 17, overnight, and we went home on December 18 in the morning. We decided to go to Munchies at Cardona Rizal, a popular place to experience unli wings and samgyupsal.

Since it was my first time. I didn't know what to do (I felt arrogant) but we were just laughing because of it. Nevertheless, I had some ideas because of what I watched on Facebook random videos.

We started cooking the meat, there were 4 types of meat and I forgot their differences. There are also plenty of side dishes, rice, and juice served to us.

One thing that I love in Munchies is that all of the foods on the table are unlimited including the meat for 1 hour and 30 minutes. So you can cook more in the span of the given time, but when you can't take everything and you are left with leftover meat, you have to pay for it so too much is still bad.

I enjoyed the cheese a lot because its taste blends with the meat perfectly. Four of us were also laughing because we felt arrogant and just copying what other people from the other table were doing. For example, the aluminum cup, we do not know where to use it, but we saw that it is used to catch the oil from the pan. We also learned that you can put the cup of cheese in the pan (but it is optional) so it will melt if you want it melted.

We had a lot of fun talking, eating, and cooking. After that, there's a nearby pertain beside the place, so we decided to go there and have some fun. However just one of us tried the color game where she only won 5 pesos. It was still a win, right?

We went home at night after that last bonding together in 2023.
