Going to Batangas Alone

Everything ended.

I do not have any planned events with my friends, so I decided to go to my grandmother's house to celebrate Christmas. I always celebrate Christmas here, except during the pandemic time.

I left at 5:00 am because of the boat, but the boat passed into our barangay at almost 8:00 am. It was frustrating because I waited for so long, but anyway, I waited for it and continued to go. I think it was my unlucky day because there were a lot of insects from the boat that could cause stains on my clothes. After all, I was wearing a plain white T-shirt.

We also had to ride in a small boat because the big boat could not go any further. After all, it was "low tide" (though I don't think low tide doesn't happens in this place, we can just use it as an analogy lol). We also used a life jacket since that incident happened last July 2023 (the boat sunk and 40 people were killed).

Anyway, I went to Jollibee first to eat because it was already 10:00 am and I hadn't eaten breakfast so I am a bit hungry. I just ordered the regular C1 from the menu. I also had a funny experience ordering the food because the staff asked me something but since she was wearing a mask, I did not understand it quite so I just answered YES, but the thing is, she was asking what is my drinks. I was embarrassed and rushed to my table.

After eating, I went to the van terminal and luckily, there was no sitting in the front of the van, so I went there and sat beside the driver. The driver also said I should sit there because I would be the first one to leave during the trip.

There was also a thing that I can call an achievement because I learned to say NO to a person after a man opened the door and said that he would sit beside me, but I would sit between him and the driver which I opposed. I was the first one to arrive, so I did not agree, it is hard to between between them.

I went to my grandmother's home where we were shocked because they were not expecting me to arrive that day. My cousins are also here and it was fun to have a bond with them again after a year without seeing each other.
