A teacher's job isn't easy. Maybe some of the people don't know what we did inside the classroom as some of them said that teachers are 'Hayahay'. Some even thought that we have lots of money because we have big salaries. Just so you know, our salary is enough for our family's needs and sometimes don't. How much more if a teacher like me has loans, haha? Anyway, no matter what other people may say about us, our life as a teacher must continue because lots of children need us. No matter how tired our bodies were, we need to fight the stress even if stress knocked us out sometimes.
I admit that I want to have time for myself to unwind and have fun with my family. That's one of my goals in life. To have time for my family during my day off because for me that matters most. I mean, it's kind of a reward for me having my family with me and bonding. This helps me relax and be stress-free because I'll be able to see my family's happy faces. Who doesn't like such family time, right?
From Monday to Thursday, it's my time for teaching my students from morning till afternoon. I have 6 classes a day. And during Friday, I need to do the paperwork that needs to pass just like doing the lesson plan and all. You know, we have lots of paperwork that needs to pass and sometimes those papers are urgent that's why sometimes, I don't know which will I work first. The reason I ended up stressed. And every time I told my wife about it, she'll say that I don't know how to manage my time and work. I know, she's right 50% and wrong 50% because sometimes it's true that J did the mania habit but of course, I also did my job well. It's just that there were times when I am tired and seems my brain not working. I'm just glad that even though my wife said a lot of words, still she helped me with other things in school. If I can't make it all, I will just ask her help and viola her mouth will start to ratatatata, and then she'll change her clothes and grab me while saying 'let's go. How sweet, right? But I am so happy and fortunate to have her because she's a lot concerned for me. And points out that she's also a teacher like me and we have the same major so it's not hard for me to tell her what to do because she knew.
UNWINDING TIME WITH WIFE.
So since I was so exhausted this week, I decided to have a short unwind with my family. But, my wife needs to go Tacloban today for her medical examination and I am as always the driver. So, we went to Tacloban City this early morning. I told her that if she will be done early, we will watch a movie. It will be our first time watching in Cinema since we were in a relationship. I am so excited to bring her to the cinema and we talked about watching the One Piece movie. When we arrived at the diagnostic center, she underwent some tests, and the result of her medication will be sent to us on Monday. We're just glad that we don't need to go back to Tacloban City next week because the documents will be sent to us. In short, we don't need to have some expenses on Monday. Aside from that, I have work and my wife doesn't like to go to Tacloban City alone and she doesn't like to commute. After her test, we paid Php2,300.00 for the medical fee and I gave Php200.00 as a tip for the snack because they're so friendly, I thought for them to have a snack. I gave php300 but he said that php200 is enough.
After her test, we went to Robinson Mall to eat our lunch. We are at Mang Inasal because she likes chicken. There, we are having our lunch fast because we have something to do next. We need to go to the house of the lot owner from who we bought our lot areas where our house was built. We need to fully pay it because we plan on having our electric connection in our house and one of the requirements is for having proof of ownership of the house and lot. And also, because I don't like thinking every month about the payment that's why I like to pay the full payment of the said lot.
When we were done with our lunch we went to the lot seller and paid the balance of our lot area. We're fortunate that the lot owner was so kind and we learned from her, especially how to treasure family and make the relationship work. After we talked about the deed of sale and the title, we decided to go because we have a plan to watch a movie, and it was already afternoon. We enjoyed the chitchat that's why we took a lot of time.
We then go to the other Robinson Mall in Tacloban City to watch a movie. But before that, my wife asked me if we can go to Watson because she'll go to buy our son's soap. But what happens? I was budol again because I bought things for myself which my wife chose but she didn't buy something for her but only a lip balm. I grabbed her and we went to the hair treatment section but all she said about the products I showed her is "hmm, it's pricey!", and she'll put it back on to the stall. In the end, only lip balm for herself while mine and our son were neverminds. And yes, of course, I'm the one who paid for it, cry.
After that, we went outside the Watson and saw a big Christmas Tree. The essence inside the mall is already Christmas. We can feel Christmas already because of the decoration. And a lot of people were having a picture taken and of course, we did also.
After taking some shots, we went to the third floor because we were going to watch a movie. But when we arrived there, only horror movies were available and my wife doesn't like to watch horror movies so, in the end, we didn't watch a movie. I felt sad because it will be our first time watching but maybe it was not the time yet. We again saw the Christmas tree, my wife kept saying how she wish our son was with us. Especially since we were near the kid's area and the playground. For her not to be sad with her thoughts because I know someday we can bring our son with us next time, I pulled her to the potato fries area, and there I bought her fries. After we bought her fries, we went to the first floor because we planned to head home already. She said she missed our son when suddenly she saw a cake store and she bought a cake for our son. I thought she'll buy a donut but then she chose a cake. Our son loves cake and I know where he gets that from.
Since it was already 3 pm, we headed home already. And guess what, my wife fell asleep while she was on the back ride. Glad that she manage to get back her weight because if not, she'll surely fall from our motorcycle. I know she was tired that's why I told her not to sleep because I'll let her sleep when we arrive home and I'll be the one to take care of our son. When we arrived, our son was too excited about the cake we brought for him. And his mom went inside our room after a short cuddle with our little boy and went to sleep. Until now, she's in bed and sleeping already.
Today is a superb day for me. I able to have a short unwind with my wife. Hopefully next time we can bring our son with us and have a short stress-free day.
