At Prince Edward and Worldwide On The Third Day (#FamilyVacation Day 3)

I am on the third day of this #FamilyVacation series. My family and I had a fantastic holiday in Hong Kong. If you missed the first two days, you can find them here:

Day 1: Tsim Sha Tsui Harbor
Day 2: Tamar Park and Central Harbourfront

The third day was spent resting rather than visiting a tourist destination. My family looked exhausted after the previous day's excursion, so I let them sleep longer, and we went out in the afternoon to get some supplies and food.

We had seen this place from our hotel room and assumed it was the market, so we decided to go there. And we were right. It was the market in the area. We purchased some fruits and returned to our room to put them in the fridge before heading to the train station.

Here's a beautiful view of Hong Kong's light rail, which connects to the Mass Rail Transit, the city's faster means of transit.

This reminded me of trains in the Philippines, but more convenient. My niece enjoys watching trains every day, and she will say, "Train, train, cho cho".

We headed straight to Central to visit Worldwide, a mall packed with Filipino stores. Beforehand, we ate lunch at the nearby Jollibee, and they were really happy, especially the little niece. They're from the Philippines, but they still want Filipino food.

From Jollibee to Worldwide. Anyone looking for Filipino food and items will come here.

If you are curious about what products are sold at Worldwide Mall, you can check my post here.

The kid got some bread when the saleslady convinced her to get some, lol. She eventually fell asleep when we went out. It happened after taking some bread from the store, a pack of ube-pandesal, and a pack of cheese bread.

After that, we traveled to Prince Edward to let my family see Hong Kong's version of Divisoria. Divisoria is well-known among Filipinos. This street market is just one of those in Hong Kong where people can buy affordable stuff, such as clothes, shoes, accessories, phone accessories, gadgets, household items, and even street food. You may find Prince Edward street markets here. There are many boutiques here as well, so we purchased some pasalubong (presents) for our family in the Philippines.

We were supposed to visit Sham Shui Po that night. It is another place in Hong Kong to find street markets selling souvenirs and affordable items. However, unexpected rain came heavily. So, we had no choice but to return to our hotel.

Speaking of street food, that night I treated my family to some Hong Kong street food that I purchased from a shop near our hotel. Restaurants were already closed when we returned to our hotel place, with only a few food booths available. Again, they didn't enjoy some of the food. They still favored Filipino food.

This is how our third day went. There wasn't much excitement, but my family was able to relax for a day before embarking on another adventure the next day. You will find out soon!

It's another month. Time truly fly so fast. Don't forget to Power Up!

Thanks for your time.

A well-spent day with your family is great.
