As of this writing I have 40 followers and I am following 45 people. I still hoping and still working to make it grow day by day.

It's been one month and five days since I posted my introductory blog. I still considered myself as a brood or larvae in the beehive as I think I still have a lot more to learn. But beeing that young, I still have learned and want to share some advise to newbies.

Find an answer to your curiosity

When I first read about Hive, I am curious about it and my curiosity lead me to ask question and tried to join webinar. It then leads to creating an account and here I am right now.

Write from what you have

Definitely, you cannot share something that you don't have. I cannot share travel photos because I am at home most of the time. I cannot share blogs about cooking because I am not used into it. I cannot share photo editing because I don't know how to do it. But, I can share my life experiences, I can share my stories as a daughter, as a sister, as a wife and above all as a mother. Write from the heart.

Read, read and read

Yes! It is a three read rules.
Read rules of different communities because every community have different rules to follow. Some wanted you to post in a single day of the week, some wanted you post a specific topic and many more rules. Rules are usually pinned and can be found at the very top lists of the blogs.

Read different blogs from other users because you cannot just write and write without reading others blog. So, read and leave related comments. By reading others blog, you will also get an idea what to write next. Read and observe what and how they write and it will help you grow as a writer. By doing it, it is also like saying "Hi, hello, I am here."

Read comments in your blogs and always leave a message of reply. By doing so, they knew that you gave value on their comments and appreciates their effort for dropping by.

Follow simple instructions

Instructions are always simple and it becomes difficult when you didn't follow it. I mentioned above that we need to read community rules, but reading is useless without following it. They are just so simple to follow and make sure to follow it so you won't be banned.

Feel free to ask

Not everything can be learn in a day or in a single webinar. A mentor would like to teach you everything what you needed to learn but there are always something that you cannot catch up at that very moment. When you want to know something, feel free to ask. At first, I hesitated to do so because I really felt shy but the eagerness to find an answer push me to ask question to some users and the @hiveph discord channel. I am so glad that they are so welcoming and so kind to answer my inquiries.

Always find an inspiration to write

I know it's not that easy to write a blog because me myself can finish one blog in an hour to one hour and half. Always find a reason to write as your inspiration. It might be earning money, yes, we cannot deny it. Make a goal to reach that will push you to give your best. It might be to touch someone's heart. Share your experiences and others may learn from it. It might be you want to learn and grow as a writer.

Be kind

Whatever your reason to be here, whatever who you are, whereever you came from always remember to be kind to yourself and to one another because we are in one hive. You might be a drone, a queen bee or larvae in this colony at the moment but we have to work hand in hand for the betterness of our hive.

Come on! Let's go! make sound, share thoughts and touch lives!

This is my participation in the week 3 challenge of @hiveph with the theme: What Advice Can You Give to Newbies on Hive?

Thank you so much for reading.

I like that 3 Read Rules. Keep slaying, mamshie and pass on the learnings. 😉

Salamat @ayane-chan... yes i will as long as i can.

Yay! Thanks, sis. Those are wonderful insights. Parang nauna yata ako sayo pero mas insightful kapa. Hehe.

Okay lang yan sis, we are learning and improving in different ways.

This will surely help a lot of people. I agree with these points!
The key is really to read, read and read. If you don't understand after reading, ask.
I was also shy (and still shy) to ask questions but I realized I won't really understand it on my own so it's better to ask.

Same here still shy but sometimes we really need help from others and we have to ask. Thanks for dropping by @wittyzell.

READ is the key talaga. hehe

Write from what you have

This is very important and it's the mistake some newbies make when they join hive. When they see that a particular style of writing always earn high upvotes, they try to write that way too even when they know they can't do it. Thank you for the very helpful tips ma'am, it will help a lot of people

That's one of the most important tips @kushyzee and thanks you got it too. Thanks for reading.

Following simple instructions is a must if you want to build your account here. Also being kind is important especially in engaging in different blogs because that will make them to remember you.
Each of us has a unique style in writing but always write from your heart.😊

Exactly @jhero22, writing from heart should be our common denominator though we have different ways of writing.

Bawi nalang ako about books and travel kung makakabalik nako.

Anyway thank you sa tips for newbies like me.

Yes @viceroyklayd there will always time for everything naman kaya no worries, just write kung ano maisusulat.. thanks for dropping by.

Happy first month to you Jen and it's great that you are sharing these awesome tips of how to do better in Hive. Kudos to you and keep going!

i am happy that i know you mula sa read.cash to here hehehee. i will agree on what you said:

By reading others blog, you will also get an idea what to write next.

Wow nice to meet you here @rene.neverfound. Ano name mo sa RC? mas madali ako maidentify kasi same name lang ako sa RC at noise.

Hope you learn from that tips too.

hihi ako po ung usagi sa read na kausap mo hihi killa kita eh..

Biruin mo yun back then you are just asking some questions now, you are inspiring people on your learnings and how it can be applied sa Hive.

All points are correct, there's no harm in asking questions naman rather than you doing the thing. This is why the community exist so that you will be guided and will avoid any future issues.

You are doing an amazing job Jen! Keep it up!

Thank you so much @tpkidkai, you're the first in line why i am here. I will be asking more questions pa soon hehehe.
