My son had been asking for ice cream for a few days already. Ice creams are not included in the budget but since he had been a very good boy, it wouldn't hurt to cut some of the budget for it.
It's election day yesterday and I did not go to work. I woke up early in the morning helped my husband prepare for work and did the laundry. It was my rest day yesterday and I did not do anything too much because I thought for once in a while, I had to rest on my rest day and feel it happen.
So the plan was to tire my son by walking to school where I could vote but to make his dream come true, we had to go through a seven-eleven store. Solo-sized ice creams in other brands were sold out so we chose their fundae instead. It was a fast transaction we did inside since there were not too many customers waiting.
When we got out, we saw a vacant table and seat so we sat down while I waited for him to finish his food. I only bought one too so we could share when he needed help with the melting ice cream. It was delicious and it came in vanilla and chocolate flavor combined!
Perfect to quench thirst and heat on a sunny and bright weather we experienced.
I took as many photos as I could with my son as a remembrance of our wonderful moment together, iT was very nice to see him enjoy the food he longed for and it was like our date. We only have one day per week to be together and this week, we have two! Hooray for that! But I wished my girls were here too, they had to go with their granny in teh farm but will be right back in teh afternoon.
Not long after, we continued our way to the school and went home after some troubles we had. Both of us were so tired when we got home, my son was too weak to walk and asked me to carry him on the way and so I did willingly.
we had a great nap in the afternoon and woke up refreshed. It was a perfect day for ice cream and a date!
