What would you do if you found this creature having a tour of your comfort room?
This wee hours, it was past three in the morning when my mother-in-law woke me up. She was in a rush, asking if I had a spray for insects.
There was a centipede
Thus, it was gone when I went out and handed over the spray. With the number of feet it had, it crawls too fast.
Washing clothes wasn't my plan, yet Caleb threw up in our bed. He had just finished 6oz of milk but was so energetic that he spit the milk.
Thinking our bedsheet would be stained if I didn't wash it immediately left me with no choice.
Also, I was thinking of cleaning out CR. The washing machine was placed here since no one was using it. Only on special occasions do we have visitors. Oh, mother-in-law at night if she had a call of nature. I did look for the centipede, yet I haven't found it.
I had already placed folded clothes in our cabinets past nine last night.
Caleb was asleep. My time to clean up unfinished chores
Leslie, hand me the spray! I heard my mother-in-law shouting while she was at the CR.
Ah, maybe she saw the centipede again. My thought.
I was so relaxed and went outside. I was about to spray but got scared upon seeing it!
OMG! Never thought it was that huge! I stepped back and was about to run inside the house. However, I realized that if I didn't help my mother, then who?
So I took a stick, yes I had one in the kitchen and another one in my bedroom. Told ya, I am sometimes paranoid; I even had a baseball bat 😆😅.
But it crawls too fast and hides at the corner.**
Do you have hot water? Mother asked.
Thank goodness, so I poured hot water and;
What a sad life for him; after he died, thoughts even rushed into my mind.
What if this centipede had a family waiting? A wife of husband?
What's worse, what if another one is still in the CR?
I don't know how it managed to get inside, as our house was fully concrete. Could it be it was already there since it was still a little?
This is why I don't like living in the countryside. Though no dense forest was nearby, the back of our house was still vacant.
It was even clean, as the owner had a lot of chickens and roosters.
Thus, this is not my first time seeing an unwanted creature in our home.
Last week, I saw a moth (tilas) leisurely walking on the floor in our living room. It was huge, like fingers. I shivered; that was so scary.
Yes, I believe I am a strong, independent woman, but that insect scares me!
Do you know the feeling that you are so scared that you have to face your fears?
It would be fine if only them. They meant no harm, after all.

Might grasshopper? 🦗 As these are normal. Sometimes there are even bird poop on our porch, but pretty fine.
Just not those first two, please. 😬😬
Not that exaggerating, but it could be perilous, especially for Caleb.
I started writing this yesterday but only now I had a chance to finish 😆.
