You can now trim his fingernails so you can remove those mittens. My mother chatted in our group chat on messenger after seeing the photo I forwarded.
It was so cute though that I wanted to put on some nail polish .
However, my nail cutter seemed not appropriate to use. The thought that I might hurt him. So I messaged my sister in-law to ask her to buy me a small one .
But was surprised there was really one specially made for babies .
It was small, and safer to use and yep, did it successfully.
So what now? Of course time to let go of those mittens and free his little hands!
Oh this is the sweetest
And earlier, while he was sleeping, I took the storage box where I kept all his mittens and booties. Better segregate what isn't to be used.
I didn't purchase a lot as the baby grows fast and it would only take a month of usage. However, the mittens were too big for his hands. Since it needs to be tied and most of the time it would slip . Back those days I was in adjustment period so I find it irritating
That made me decide to add more pairs. This goes in a set with beanies and booties. This is much better as I don't have to tie at all .
But , , my baby suddenly gained weight after all the struggles that this no longer fit. The garter was so tight that it left a mark. Afraid that it might affect the blood flow, these are the pairs I usually use .
So it looks worn out, it really worth the penny!
Aside from mittens, I noticed a few newborn beanies. He could no longer use this as it was too small.
I only bought a few of these, which I can say I made the right decision!
Though I wonder if this would still fit him! As much as I wanted to try,he might wake up! So better not .
This comes in a set with mittens and socks which, speaking of also no longer fits.
This is one of my favorites as it looks so cute! The same with the gray beanie, but I couldn't see the socks . Can't remember where I placed it . Actually, I was surprised knowing it wasn't here. Did I misplace it?
Now what is left are these pairs! They don't fit yet, but maybe next month it will!
Why not reorganize too his drawer?
Now I saw these newborn clothes that were never worn. When I was buying , the thought that my birth month was June at the back of my head was thinking it might be cold. That's the reason why I purchased long sleeves. Tssk, just a waste as it was not. One time I tried to let my son wear this but he felt uncomfortable. Thankfully I just purchased six pieces of.
Aw and these were left untouched at the corner of the drawer! Waaa, I totally forgot I had this frog suit!
And more that are too small now for the baby! Those newborn clothes (needs to be tie) seriously, I had to let it go maybe next week. Last night, while preparing my son to sleep, I noticed it was already fitted. Plus, since he no longer had mittens , he would pull those ties! He was almost topless the other night when I woke up .
Not only that, based on my experience as a first time mom, it would be better to use onesies. The one that front button down. Much easier than tying those while preparing your baby. Just onesie are expensive!
Wrote this last Monday but half way the baby woke up. Only no I had a chance to finish it.
