We Filipinos are great believers in God in many ways and as Catholics every holy week we always remember the God's sacrifices to save our sins.
Yesterday we are celebrating Holy Thursday and it happened to be an unexpected blissful day because of those very kind-hearted people worldwide.
We are invited by a friend to a church for my kid to receive a gift from a sponsorship abroad from their religion. At about 1 pm we are gathered at a church that is a Christian believer but had a little difference between our church which is led by priests and theirs is led by pastors and what they call teachers but anyway it's not about the difference but their main goal was to introduce Lord God to children and its words. Thanks to all the kind people that extended their helping hands in the name of SAMARITAN'S PURSE that give joy to several kids from my hometown that receive a small package but were full of fun for those kids that will receive the gifts including my eldest son Carlo.
Upon arriving we get inside and parents are asked to stay at the back and the children at the front and then we meet the other kid's who are meant to receive the gifts. After that, the teachers and the kids had already started the program they made an introduction and ice breaker and you can see the happiness even though most of them had just met that day.
After the fun, they were settled and before they receive the gift the teachers had a few important words from God.
To be honest, it feels good to hear and be reminded of those words again but sometimes it's sad that even with how strong your faith in God you always repeat the same sins that you've been trying hard to avoid.
When they finished the few important words of God they then distributed the boxes. All boxes had random stuff inside and it was classified each by age.
Finally, Carlo received the box and when he opened it he was so happy about what he received and all the children express their happiness.
We bid thank you and goodbye after the program and headed home and Carlo happily shared about what he received with his younger brother Lucas and they had so much fun with the toy inside. Also, more stuff inside like colouring books with crayons, a storybook, a comb, a toothbrush, pencils with sharper, socks, and soap.
IN ON BEHALF OF ALL THE CHILDREN WHO RECEIVED THE GIFTS I WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS MY HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO CHRISTIAN PURSE WORLDWIDE HERE IN HIVE MAYBE SOME OF YOU ARE IN HIVE TOO. I HOPE THIS MESSAGE WOULD REACH TO YOU AND I WISH YOU WILL CONTINUE TO BRING HAPPINESS TO EVERY PEOPLE IN THE WORLD.
