” Although I was not blessed to grow up with a complete family and I did not experience Family Day in schools when I was young, I am very happy that somehow my son was able to experience having a Family Day event at school with us complete.”
This event happened a week ago, but it's a pity if I won't post it here because maybe we don’t know when the day will come I’ll never know if my children will also be a member of the #HIVE and will take time to stalk my contents and this may give them a smile on their hearts.😁
I know there are a few people who can relate to my post because it is a national family celebration here in the Philippines so other schools are celebrating it as well.
By the way, this Family Day is dedicated to all the daycare students which includes my youngest son Lucas.
Fortunately, their father moved his day off that day and my elder son Carlo doesn't have a class that day so we really got the chance to complete our family members, if he does have a class I would ask his teacher to excuse him since this is very important for me.
Therefore this kindergarten class has many students, it is divided into three sessions, and like the children's groupings, we parents have three groupings where we are divided by color. Because there were three sessions in the first group, they wore something red, while in session two we wore blue, and in the last session wore green.
The event started with the performance of the children with their singing and dancing teacher, and I know all the parents who watched were at least as happy as I was in the first steps of discovering their talents.
After the kids finished, the parents didn't want to end this event without a contribution. - except for some of us who didn't dance because no matter what we did, we didn't have any dancing talent and I was really shy as well 😔.
After singing and dancing, the teacher gave a little speech before what everyone was waiting for. Of course, who wouldn't be looking forward to eating time, everyone is hungry because it's lunchtime and almost everyone has run out of energy.😄
It's eating time! I'm proud because we only accumulated 50 pesos each for our drinks here and it depends on what the budget can everyone afford and that's what each one will bring. So far there are a lot of foods and they taste so good.
After the happy meal, there was a final part where the teachers had games and there were some prizes for the winners. The joy of the parents is so much that the kids can't even relate yet.
This program is very good. Besides the children enjoying themselves, the parents are also happier and it builds unity among parents like me. And I know that not everyone has a complete family but it's really important sometimes that there are events like this too.
That's all for now, Thanks for reading this far and Take Care, everyone.
