Subic EnerZone Participates in Fire Prevention Month Kick-Off Program and Motorcade.

We enthusiastically participated in the Subic Bay Metropolitan Fire Department's Fire Prevention Month Kick-Off program and Motorcade, demonstrating its ongoing dedication to safety and community participation. This project emphasizes the significance of fire prevention and safety knowledge in our community.

Anchored with this year's theme: "Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-Iisa"

We prepared for the occasion by putting tarpaulins at its five substations and main office. The placing of these tarpaulins acts as a visual reminder to everyone about our shared responsibility for fire prevention and safety.

Yesterday's gathering was not only a show of unity but also a monument to the long-standing collaboration between Subic EnerZone and SBMA. As one of our calendar's yearly highlights, this joint endeavor brings together SBMA locators and stakeholders to promote fire safety across the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

All locators around the Subic franchise were included to show the importance of Fire Prevention inside and outside premises.

We often neglect the importance of having basic knowledge when a fire breaks out.

They tackled the SDR -- STOP, DROP, and ROLL principles are straightforward: if your clothing catches fire, stop rather than flee. Drop on the ground in a prone position. Protect your face with your hands from the flames. Roll over and over to put out the flames.

The best defense is prevention.

Stopping a fire using fire prevention tactics will increase your chances of survival. Suppressing a fire is a last-ditch effort to put it out before it spreads further. As a result, fire prevention and protection are critical to the overall safety of your working environment.

As we begin this month-long Fire Prevention Awareness Month, keep in mind that our choices now can have disastrous implications tomorrow. Let us continue to be attentive, proactive, and unified in our efforts to avoid fires and preserve our community's safety and well-being.

We express our heartfelt thanks to the Subic Bay Metropolitan Fire Department for their tireless efforts to promote fire safety and for leading this important endeavor.

The purpose of Fire Prevention Month is to remind company owners that they must take fire protection seriously. That's why Fire Prevention Month is an excellent opportunity to review fire prevention and safety procedures.

Implementing a fire prevention strategy may considerably minimize the amount of damage caused by a fire and assist in preventing one from starting in the first place. A fire emergency evacuation plan outlines how you and your personnel may depart the premises safely and appropriately.

My involvement in the program demonstrates my commitment to creating a culture of safety and accountability. By actively participating in community activities like these, we display our steadfast dedication to protecting people, property, and businesses in our area.

Let us continue to work together to make this place safer and more robust.

Hello Elli, the timing of this activity is perfect as the hot and dry season is upon us.

When something like that happens, based on a personal fire encounter, we tend to pick up the most important thing we can gather and then RUN to exit the building and brave the fire-cracker like explosion in the electrical room across our apartment. Preparation is key so since that incident, an emergency bag with all the valuables helps a lot that you can quickly grab and flee. Well said, prevention is the best thing.

Activity like this one is a must, especially there are lots of fire incidents happening recently.

I agree, it is a timely activity to engage as fire can happen anytime and anywhere. Thanks for dropping by @digdeeper2 😁
