What's up my fellow Hivers!
I take the opportunity of a long weekend to explore the beauty of Masasa Beach. It was located in Tingloy, Batangas Philippines.
Masasa Beach is not crowded, with white sand, fresh air, healthy trees, beautiful corals, cold wind, and fantastic view plus the people are so kind which shows how hospitable Filipino is.
We do commute to get there, we take a Bus, Jeepney, Tricycle, and Ferry Boat.
From Manila, we take a bus down to the terminal and a jeepney up to Port of Talaga
I was amazed by the ferry it was my first time riding this so I had mixed emotions at that moment, this is how it looks inside the helmsman looks cool I wonder how can he read the map I was suddenly curious about the boat and how it was constructed lol!
After an hour of boat ride we finally reached the "Tingloy Port" We saw a lot of tourists waiting for a service bound for Masasa beach including us.
What a stunning view! After a long walk and ride we successfully reached our destination exhaustion is worth it.
It's kinda gloomy on our first day so we take a little rest upon arrival, we are lucky to get the transient that is near the seashore where we can rest in the coconut trees and a hammock plus the lovely corals!
After taking some pictures for our souvenirs, we prepare food and we had some fun while doing those. When we settled everything my colleagues and I gathered around the seashore to drink some coffee.
This is the moment when we have our deep talks, we talk about life, we talk about almost everything there's a feeling inside that I can't explain we are all just comfortable in each other's company and I love that very moment.
Anyways, I haven't told you who's with me right?
I met these beautiful persons at our Tree Planting event, they are also young professionals, my co-volunteers who founded the "Seeds of Hope Society PH"
I'm with Mam Zhy, our Medical Core Leader, Mam Carmela our Chairwoman, and Sir Niño our generous Logistic head and of course yours truly.
After that talk, we started exploring the Island and we visit the popular attraction at Masasa which is "The Lagoon"
I was amazed by the massive rocks and huge waves, Indeed a Lagoon.
Besides Lagoon, there are mountains and caves I try to climb but you know, I can't just waste my one life, lol 😂
At night, the ladies feel exhausted upon exploring so they rest early while I and Sir Niño walk around the seashore we bought some beers for ourselves, just 2 bottles cause we are not hardcore when it comes to alcohol HAHA.
That was a great bonding, we enjoy the night and we disclosed some secrets but that's only for us lol, full of laughter and random talks. This is truly priceless!
When we ran out of beer we decided to get back to the transient and just simply sleep peacefully.
Mam Zhy and Mam Carmela slept inside the transient while we stay at the seashore and slept in the Hammock.
Glad that there were no mosquitoes that night, the sound of the calm sea made me fall asleep deeply. I FEEL INFINITE
For our 2nd day, of course, as usual, we assign to do the cooking and Sir Niño assisted me we now look like husband and wife, didn't we? lol
I simply cooked fried rice, egg, bacon, salted fried fish, and soup for breakfast.
and for the best part of this adventure, we tried Snorkeling. I'm so excited when they announced that Snorkeling is finally allowed, It's my first time in that kind of activity tho I know how to swim, but the underwater surface hits differently.
However, I don't want to disappoint them so I made up my mind and joined them, and looks like the boat is perfectly suited for 4 people.
To experience the Snorkeling activity you just need to pay 3.55$ USD
or the equivalent of 200Php in Philippine pesos, Yeah! Affordable and worth more than its price.
We put on life vests and our guide gave us an underwater mask that allows us to breathe under the water, He gives instructions on how to use it and what to do while snorkeling.
At first, I was struggling on breathing my mask will eventually flood my mouth with sea water until I realized that I didn't put it correctly.
I can't believe what I saw under the water. Colorful fish, coral reefs, turtles, and even colorful starfish,
That turtle is huge and he loves to swim with us.
Thanks to Mam Zhy and her underwater camera I was able to capture these amazing creatures 🤩❤
This experience is truly magical, and the opportunity to see marine life in their natural habitats is a unique experience in itself.
Snorkeling allows me to experience the beauty of the ocean and marine life. It's no wonder that snorkeling is a popular activity enjoyed by many and is a great way to unwind, relax and discover a new world underwater.
This is the best activity that I've ever tried and I will truly treasure this for sure.
After our Snorkeling, we were informed that the ferry's final departure is 12:OO PM so we immediately packed up our things to catch up the final boat and I'm glad we made it!
I highly recommend this Beach Resort, so If you are looking for a quick escape or a one-of-a-kind relaxation I can say that this place is better for ya!
It was an astonishing weekend experience, this was the escape that I'd been looking for, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore had a calming effect on my mind and body.
A Sea exploration is always the best!
