It only happens once a year, obviously, people are so excited to that day. Locals who are working abroad or maybe locals wanted to go home despite the expenses they’d spend in going home. Involved or living in that said place that’s celebrating are exciting as well. For sure, only Filipinos know what it means celebrating a Festive or most common name - “Fiesta”.
Weeks before that special day, there is much entertainment to be found in that place. For example, basketball league, pageants, bar houses and many more. So yeah, that place for sure will be lively, very different from the normal days. However, it's not just the entertainment that can be found in that place but the many people that will gather as well. Families, friends and yes, there are strangers as well because everyone is welcome. But you know, the feeling of the reunion that makes that celebration makes it very special.
That day has come, of course, the whole center of town should have deepening sounds. Then, the parade is the one that makes it possible. The sound of drums, and different instruments as the roads of town are occupied with people; The bystanders who are the watchers and the people that join the parade who are like the presenters. True, there was no day that sun was absent when the day came. Maybe, the saint above loves us and lets us enjoy the day of his special day. It was extremely hot but no one cared, all they cared about was to witness the joyful parade.
The day might set and almost the day of the festival has come to an end. It’s getting darker and maybe not just the surroundings, for sure the sight of people as well. Who wouldn’t be when everyone was welcome to drink liquors from everywhere. Even so, life is always like that but it doesn’t mean it would be a saad one. It just means before the day would end, it should be celebrated like an explosion, you know what I mean. Enjoy it like the last day of life and,
Happy Fiesta Macrohon…
