The Philippine-based decentralized micro-blogging platform D.Buzz will represent Hive in Bitskwela's Bull or Bear NFT Debate in Manila dubbed "Brushes and Pixels," tomorrow June 16, 2023. Blockchain developer and D.Buzz co-founder Nathan Senn will be doing a 5-minute keynote speech representing Hive as one of the partners of Bitskwela in promoting Web3 and cryptocurrency education here in the Philippines.

The team departed from Davao City in Southern Philippines past midnight on June 15, 2023, and arrived at the airport at around 3:45 AM due to some delays with their travel itinerary. Nathan Senn alongside fellow D.Buzz core team went directly to Mandaluyong City in a place owned by one of the key figures and well-known investor, Paul Jones (@pjentrepreneur), the owner of Targetron.com.
Representing Hive here in the Philippines for the highly anticipated NFT debate include D.Buzz and Hive users Kenny Owano (@kenny.rogers), Chris Rice, Paul Jones, Tiktoker Tony Rebamonte (@tonyrebamonteph), blockchain developer Nathan Senn, and yours truly Ed Umbao (@philnews.xyz).
The event organized by Bitskwela titled "Brushes and Pixels: A Debate on NFTs and Fine Arts" will be held at Imahica Art Gallery in Mandaluyong City. This event is part of the highly anticipated Bull or Bear: Philippine Web3 Debate Cebu edition, which will take place this coming July 15, 2023, at Ayala Malls Central Bloc in Cebu City, Philippines.

Bull or Bear NFT Debate Key Personalities:
Aside from Nathan Senn who will be doing his Hive presentation in front of hundreds of audiences at the gallery, the debate will also feature notable Filipino creatives and entrepreneurs that includes prominent personalities such as Brian Poe Llamanzares, son of Philippine Senator Grace Poe Llamanzares who is also the co-founder of Artifracts.io.
Artifacts.io is a platform based in the Philippines that fractionalizes Fine Arts and NFTs. The company has collaborated with prominent Filipino artists and even partnered with Eraserheads frontman Ely Buendia to bring art and music to blockchain enthusiasts.
Ely Buendia is the famous lead singer of the Philippines' most popular rock band in the 90s, Eraserheads which sold more than 1 million albums certified by the Philippine Association of Record Industry (PARI). Eraserheads is also a recipient of the 1997 MTV Asia Viewer's Choice Award. The band was the first-ever Filipino artist to win such recognition.

Ian Fulgar will also be present during the Bull or Bear Manila event, he is the founder of Imahica Art Gallery. He is an architect in the Philippines motivated by metamodern architecture, property developments, and future technology.
The graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Architecture is the principal architect of Fulgar Architects, an architectural engineering, and technology studio in the Philippines helping real estate developers, property and business enterprises plan and design unique and future ideas for hotels, resorts, museums, offices, condominium towers, commercial and mixed-use township developments with a flavor for the meta-modern in the next Philippine architecture.

Aside from the above-mentioned personalities also present in the event are Marso Ya, a rising Filipino illustrator from Crypto Art PH and LevelArtGuild, who will provide unique perspectives on digital art. Jeffrey Bondoc, founder of the Filipino Bored Ape and Mutant Ape holders group.
Chris Tan, a serial entrepreneur, content creator, and cryptocurrency investor will be gracing the Bull or Bear: Brushes and Pixels Event in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. Chris Tan is a known actor having played for popular shows such as Encantadia shown on GMA-7 in the year 2005.
The crypto enthusiast, life coach, content creator, and actor was also featured in Kapuso Network's Family Feud Philippines in 2022.

In an official press release to the media, Bitskwela's Chief Marketing Officer, JC Macalintal, expressed excitement for the conversation between traditional art and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), emphasizing the shared love for collecting.
Bitskwela's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) also aims to foster dialogue on the future of art through NFTs and traditional art, with leaders from both industries sharing their thoughts.

The debate will be hosted and moderated by Edrei Tan and is co-presented by GCash and Blockceler8. It is supported by the government agency in charge of IT-related activities in the Philippines, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
Other supporters include o Digital Pilipinas, Ayala Malls, Philippine Airlines, Likha NFT platform, and Likhaan.
The Bull or Bear Metro Manila edition also partnered with prominent names in the crypto industry such as Bitget, a top crypto exchange, and copy flatform, Tekkon, a Web3 app promoting social good.
