I went to the market this morning with Mama to buy a lot of things. Our cat ran out of their cat food, so I told Mom about it. So aside from cat food, I had to buy ingredients for today's lunch. And then Mom asked me to buy this and that as she plan to make another potion, lol. It's a weird combination of a lot of things, so I call it a potion. But it's for her health, so no matter how weird the ingredients are, I'll just raise my brow and will never ask about it. She might ask me to drink it with her, so nevermind asking, lol.
And off we go! We're on the way here, and because we're a bit late and already 9 o'clock, the heat is already itchy to the skin. Still, I didn't bother taking my umbrella because I thought that's just unnecessary baggage for later. I have to buy 2 kilos of cat food, and I avoid carrying heavy stuff because if my nose and umbrella are a no, no. My cap is still helpful, so that's already enough for me ┏(＾0＾)┛.
And before going to where the tiangge-an is, we had to go somewhere to withdraw some money. Mama is actually asking me for some money to buy a charcoal, so I gave her $4. I don't really have much money, but this is already enough to buy what she needs. And when I handed money to Mama, I noticed how her mood shifts. Well, If I too, was given some money during the hard times, I'll be the happiest and will be grateful, no matter what the amount is. Thanks Hive again (人 •͈ᴗ•͈).
And now, in the busy and hustling public market, people are all busy doing their things. We saw more people coming in and coming out to check something. And people who go out have always something on their hands. I'm happy for the vendors here who are so hardworking. I hope they got lots of sales today ＼(^o^)／.
We continue walking around just to check if we can see something new here that we could try. Because most of them doesn't really appeal to me that much, aside from the "Kakanin" and Embutido that we saw on the way. They really have a lot here, and I already saw a banana, but I still forgot to buy one. Mom reminded me to buy even three or five pieces of it because it is good with "Pork Sinigang" that we are planning to cook for lunch, but I forgot (ꈍᴗꈍ).
And here's the kakanin and some processed foods. I think the processed foods are homemade, I'm not familiar with the name. But what really caught our attention was the "Embutido" It's been a long time since we last had it, and so we are so tempted to buy. And for me, I have to think first because I have to buy a lot of needed things, so while I'm thinking, we go to the wet market first to get pork meat.
But sad to say, I couldn't get the meat part that mom wants. She wants the bones but has more meat on them, but there are people who're buying before us, and they pick the good part of the meat. I check the other stalls, but some of them are really not fresh anymore. And so, I just choose chicken meat again, lol. Mom said we'll grow wings because of too much chicken consumption. We can't eat fish too, as the oldies are afraid of something, not so sure why. I just didn't bother asking.
We go back to the tiangge-an again to buy the embutido. Yep, I decided to try. I really just want to try to satisfy my cravings for it. And on our way, I saw this jewelry stall that sells different kinds of jewelry, of course. They are the cheap kind but have good design. So even if it's not the real thing, people will still grab some of those. I remember buying earrings in this kind of shop. I'm still wearing mine, but the color gold has now turned silver (≧▽≦). Still, I'm wearing it because, why not? I only got it for a dollar anyway, lolol.
So anyways, after getting everything, including the ingredients for Mom's potion, lol - we headed home... errr, actually no, I almost forgot. We go to another shop to buy our pets cat food. If I forgot this, pur cat will surely cry in chorus bevause of hunger. And that would be bad for our eardrums, lolol. And that's when we go home, after buying a cat food. ┏(＾0＾)┛
I immediately prepare the dish for lunch, and there we have it. Embutido and Chicken with Potato recipe cooked in ketchup. Lol. It's not the best, but not bad either. The oldies like it, so I say I cooked it okay. Hihi ＼(^o^)／.
