December Blogging Contest Part 1: #PaskoSaPinas

in #hive-188409 ā€¢ last year

Hello everyone specially to @hiveph community. Four days left before Christmas are you ready for the big day. In our situation for now; I can say that we are bit ready šŸ˜Š. Sometimes there are certain things that we can't insist to have. But we should be thankful for the wonderful blessings big or small.

For my today's post I want to share my Caroling for a Cause

And this is also my entry for hiveph community blogging contest.

How have your Christmas celebrations changed over the years?
Gusto namin malaman kung hanggang ngayon ba eh nangangaroling pa rin kayo. Through chat na ba ang carolings at through Gcash na ang bayad? I-share nyo naman! Join na rin kayo sa Talent Show natin.

Why I put the word cause on the caroling? Because we're doing the activity for our kids in the daycare center. Our goal is to sing and jingle on all the houses on our barangay. At first I couldn't believe that the parent that will not be able to join will need to pay 1000.00 pesos. And ma'am Erica said she was serious, so we have no choice but to go to the plan. The total fund will pay the food of our kids which will order in McDonald's. Decorations, prices, raffle and specially gifts for our little one's.

Thinking about it makes me want to felt in shyness LoL šŸ˜‚šŸ˜† I mean the people on our barrio are familiar with me but I live far away from them so I felt shy to do the singing. But my co parents said let's do this for our kids for their Christmas party to be fulfilled.

We started at seven in the morning at phase one near the river. At first we are energetic, we bought a small speaker to help us sing with us. Then we clap our hands and sing along. We have five more phases until we finished so before get sticky šŸ˜ we did a lot of pictures for rememberance on our batch 2023-2024

The weather is getting hotter and hotter but we have to keep going. Good thing that the class officer gave an envelope before the day of our caroling so the people are aware that we will dropped by to sing in their houses.

11:30 in the afternoon we're not still finished. We are tired and hungry, good that one of our co parents offer us to go their house to eat pansit. You can see in my selfie below the after and before above šŸ˜‚šŸ˜….
But the experience was great, the bonding of the parents got stronger. The modern world has changed because there are people/houses that won't let us sing they'll just gave the envelope with a money inside. They also thought that we are singing in the hot afternoon or tanghaling tapat. Ang hirap dahil lahat ng bahay tinapatan at kinantahan namen, pero sulit naman dahil naka 13k o 14k total kami. And because there is a certain cause on our caroling the idea of giving the envelope is a caroling strategy too.
