I woke up late in the morning yesterday. When I went out of my room, my aunt told me that we would be going to the Colorado Springs Resort. I asked, Who will be going? Our first plan is supposed to be just her, her husband, my cousin, and me, and we will be walking to go there since we don't have a vehicle that will fit the four of us. Actually, the resort is located in the other barangay. But walking there even if the sun is already hot is fine with me because I will consider it an exercise. But... I looked at our grandma and told her, Why not go with us? But my grandma doesn't like to walk to go there. That's why I also invited one of my male cousins, because he has a motorcycle.

Before going, I didn't eat breakfast because it's already 8 a.m., and if I ate breakfast, they might wait for me to prepare, so I decided to eat in the venue instead. Going to the Colorado Springs resort with them after many years has passed makes me wonder what it looks like inside now. Sure, I went to Triple A Spring Resort a lot of times, and they are just close together, but I've never been there or been able to see what it looks like inside this resort. The last time that I remember going to this place was when I was in high school. When we skip our classes or we have an outing with my batchmates, we always go here to party and drink. When we were traveling, I was thinking that the owner wouldn't see me because I do a lot of crazy things at this resort. I mean, I drank here with my classmates and acquaintances without my family knowing, and if ever the owner sees me, I just hope that she never tells them. Lol

When we arrived at the entrance, I already saw that the house of the owner had finally been renovated. I think, after many years have passed, they have already saved a lot of money because of their spring resort business. This is the first spring resort that we had nearby our barangay.

I guess the rule prohibiting carrying alcohol and soft drinks inside was because they have a canteen where we can buy those to support their small business. And about the entrance fee, I was shocked to know that it was 25 pesos now. Before, it was just 10 pesos for kids and 15 pesos for adults.

Can you see the blue roof on the side? That was the Triple A spring resort. Actually, the owner of this resort and that resort are cousins. This resort experienced a lot of financial losses because of it. This resort is old, and many people are going to the new one because of the hype, but every time I go to the other side, I still see people and tourists coming here. Anyway, look at the spring. The water is so clear, right? We arrived early in the morning so that the water of the spring would look fresh and clean to dive into. Looking around at the resort, it's still the same, but there are small changes too, like they finally have a new proper restroom now where you can take a bath and get changed. Their cottages are finally renovated and cemented too.

What makes me scared of going in the spring is thinking that there's a snake hiding on the rocks. Because there are a lot of plants everywhere now compare before. Huhu

But I still managed to dive in. Thanks to my younger cousin, who reminds me that no one has died or been bitten by a snake here. The water is not deep, maybe because in the past few months the weather has been hot. But I think the water level of this spring will rise when it always rains again. And it's because my height has increased and I'm getting taller. Charought!

I spent a few hours swimming with my cousins, aunt, and uncle. My youngest cousins are still talented at diving to the bottom and holding onto the rock underneath. Meanwhile, I am attempting to do that again, but my body is no longer capable of doing so. I guess it's a sign of aging.

When I got tired of swimming, I decided to go back to our cottage to eat. I thought they brought rice and dishes, and we were going to eat our lunch there, but all I saw were snacks, so I had no choice but to eat them because there is no one selling dishes and rice near here.

You know what? I feel at peace eating in our cottage, but when my two younger cousins arrived, I had no peace because they disturbed me. I was going to take a picture, but someone wanted me to open her snack and even feed me, even though the camera was focused. These kids! After eating snacks, we decided to dive in again. We swam for another three hours until we decided to go home at 2 p.m. because we had a feeling that the weather would not be nice again at 3 p.m.

Going back here to the resort makes me remember the old times when I was with my classmates and acquaintances. I am thankful to the owner of this resort because even if she talks with my grandma in front of me, she doesn't tell them about my past behavior in this place. Haha My aunt told us that we will be going back here again on July 6 because she will be hosting an event where we will celebrate her simple despedida party because she will be going back to work again in Dubai.I'm not sure if it's true, but I hope it will.

And I think this is the end of today's blog. I don't know how to end it because I don't take a lot of photos because I spent my six hours enjoying diving and swimming. Hehe
