It's as if it was just yesterday when I was a freshman.
I walked to every hallway with the fear of the unknown. I entered every classroom full of hopes and dreams. My parents weren't able to graduate in tertiary level, and from that, I gather all my strength to not only fulfill my dreams but also theirs.
September 12, 2022 is the official back to school date of my school but according to my schedule, my class will begin on September 13.
Everything still feels surreal; I am now on the final level of my college journey. After two years of online learning, I feel mixed emotions going to school for face to face classes. I am excited to interact with my friends and classmates and at the same time, I am terrified for the things and challenges that may come my way.

My first day going to school as a 4th BSA student. I woke up at 5am, prepared all my things, and went to school early. For this semester, I was only supposed to have two subjects - Research 2 and internship, but I guess it will be extra difficult because we will also have make up classes, reviews, and seminars, not to mention the professors are terror.
With the beginning of another academic year, school activities are lined up including the Food Fair! I was really supposed to save money but I couldn't help it. We bought Shawarma rice for our lunch.
My classes for that day consisted of orientation with regards the subject. They discussed what we will be expecting for this semester and also talked through the process for the continuation of our research study.
After our classes, we immediately went to the Administration Building to secure our requirements for the renewal of our scholarships. Me and my friends are provincial scholars and God knows how it has been helpful for us to receive allowance every semester.
We could have gone home a little earlier if not for the rain that dropped suddenly. We had to wait for a little longer until the rain become tolerable. It's hard to get soaked nowadays, I got sick before the classes start and I don't really want to experience it again.

Second day of going to school as scheduled. This day went longer than expected. Twists started to come up and I'm happy on how unpredicted these things are.
Today, we celebrated my friend's birthday! He treated us at Chowking. After the birthday bash, we went back to school to help out in the accreditation of the student organization of our program. In a pop of a bubble, I am elected as an officer (yay!). I thought I'll never have this kind of opportunity again for college. Back in high school, I was active in doing these things.
I guess we can always open a door we thought has closed for us.
Another fun thing that happened today is meeting my old people and friends. It's so nice to have a big hug from my friends whom I haven't seen for a really long time. Amazing as it is, the bond and connection never goes away. Looks like I'll have a lot of catching up to do. The pandemic has stolen too much.
Thank you so much for reading my article.
Always remember to love yourself and be kind.
