** Each one of us often leave an empty chair at every table we sit on. We always have a spare pen for people who could no longer write on our story. We keep that space in our hearts hollowed - until the void eats us alive.**
But what happens if you sit with sadness for a long time?
When you coddled sadness for quite some time, it may don't want to leave and it this case, it will end up with depression. You will carry that burden wherever you go. It will pull you down, derange your thoughts, until the darkness will only become your truth.
Loneliness can hide in ever corner, even the most unexpected place. This is why it is important to be fully aware of your emotions and situation. Taking a time off to reflect about where you are standing at the moment will never be a waste of time. It's a way of taking good care of yourself.
After you recognize the things that are causing your sadness, learn something from it. Turn these into something from which you can mold yourself to become a better person.
Do not be too comfortable living in a bubble; though it is charming and seems temporary, it can become a prison.
Whatever you feel is valid, however, don't dwell on it for too long. No matter how slow, keep in mind to make a small progress. People make mistakes, we miss chances, we get blind on what's in front of us, we choose the wrong decisions - we are humans. But, these are not good reasons to stay where you are because you are always meant to be in a better place.
Learn where that sadness comes from but never be friends with it. It may have caused your past sorrowful but it should not devastate your future.
~~Make peace with yourself and do not ever repress your emotions deep down your heart. Release it into the wind and rely upon the powers of the stars above to take away the pain and heal you. ~~
There are many things in life that you have no force or strength to control. Thus, focus on the things that you can reach. Deal with your sadness before it becomes uncontrollable and don't sit with for too long.
Take a deep breathe and start anew. Let sadness go and fill your life with serenity and love.
