Bonding is even better with food or over food, would you agree?
November 1st is an all saints day holiday in my country and since it was rice cake season, one of my xo workers collected money from everyone to make some but with a twist, they made ginataang halo-halo which is called Benignit in our dialect.
Benignit season usually on the Holy week in April or March but I guess Irene missed it and made the delicious delicacy.
My work time starts at 9 am so I was already late from all the ramblings at work, I was not even able to contribute money for the food ( I guess this is one of the advantages in being late, lol!)
It was a holiday and most of the tollers and the suppliers are off duty so here were only a few trucks coming who doesn't want to miss having profits. At 11 o'clock, Irene, our receiving checker was already not in sight because she had been very busy with the benignit.
1pm came and she brought in a heavy pot full of the week delicacy which everyone enjoyed. And guess what,Irene has and ear-wide smile because her husband was at home and is the one who did the cooking! She was very proud of what he had done and I bet her heart was filled with so much joy.
We were the first to get food since we were at the office and then the boys came, and a wonderful quick bonding happened.
We talked over Erwin, who had a very high blood pressure of 160/139 which made us all very worries with him. Good thing other people who had the same illness donated a medicine to him and later that day, his blood pressure lowered.
Erwin was a huge man, way back in 2019-2020, he comes to work with his bicycle aiming to lessen his weight and have a healthy body but his goal did not come and eventually stopped his biking on the following years.
Erwin suspects his near vision for his high blood pressure, his lense grade on his last opthalmologist visit was 300 and 200 but did not use his glasses for long and his eye sight did not get better at all.
There are several things we talked about over food and it was sure a nice bonding for all of us. Some comments were funny and some are very informative too.
Yet we did not notice the food was already finished and soon the boys went back to their respective assignments and work continued.
Our quick bonding was very fun, and gave me something different from the old boring plain days.
This will be all that I would share for today, thank you so much for your never ending support! God Bless us all
