Hello my friends, I hope all is well and you are having a great time. As you may or may not know, I love to eat Waffles, so I decided to share with you a Waffle shop I discovered last weekend.
This place is in Kadıköy and every time I visit this place, I always go to the pier and watch the sea. It makes me happy. Who wouldn't be happy with a view like this? It's not raining but the clouds cover the sky.
I wasn't the only one enjoying the view, the pigeons were also busy watching this wonderful view and eating the feed on the ground.
The place I went to is called Kemal Usta Waffles, a very famous place here. This is what it looks like from the outside and as you can see, the interior design is also very nice.
For someone like me who loves waffles, it is very important to have plenty of options. There should be a lot of fruit, there should be a lot of decorations and there should be different chocolate options. Waffle batter is also very important, it shouldn't be too hard or too soft, it should be crispy and not overpower the taste of the chocolate or you shouldn't taste the batter. Kemal Usta Waffles is a great place in this respect, you have options like pineapple, banana, kiwi, strawberry, apple. You can decorate your waffle with pebble chocolates, chocolate drops, white chocolate, dark chocolate and many other options. There is even raspberry sauce. I think tea is a great pairing with waffles, maybe because in Turkey we prefer to drink tea with everything, but it balances the sweetness of the waffle. Maybe you might prefer a strong coffee.
You have many different options here, not just waffles, I don't even know the names of all the desserts here but they all look very appetizing. You can see their names written on some of them. In the last photo on the top left it says German cake. I don't know if they have this kind of cake in Germany or if there is another reason why they call it that. @quekery, @felixxx or @smooms can enlighten me on this. You can also see Churros in the photos. I've heard of them a lot before but I haven't had them yet, I want to try them once. My girlfriend told me they were delicious.
Here is another photo showing the interior design. I think the atmosphere inside is quite nice. After you place your order, you go upstairs and consume your order there. I think it's a sensible choice, it can sometimes be confusing to eat somewhere else while people are trying to pay or order. Especially in small waffle shops.
I also bookmark this cool place on Worldmappin, perfect if you like waffles and are looking for a nice place. It deserves 8 out of 10, and I'm picky about waffles. In fact, today I had a waffle that I gave a 3 out of 10. I don't think I will go there again. Thank you very much for reading, I hope you enjoyed it. Bu yer Kadıköy'de ve burayı her ziyaret ettiğimde mutlaka iskeleye gidip denizi seyrediyorum. Beni mutlu ediyor. Şöyle bir manzara kimi mutlu etmez ki? Yağmur yağmıyor ama bulutlar gökyüzünü kaplamış.
Manzaranın tadını çıkaran sadece ben değildim, güvercinler de bu harika manzarayı seyredip yerdeki yemleri yemekle meşguldü.
Gittiğim yerin adı, Kemal Usta Waffles, burada oldukça meşhur bir yer. Dışarıdan böyle görünüyor ve gördüğünüz gibi iç dizaynı da oldukça güzel.
Benim gibi Waffle yemeyi seven biri için seçeneklerin bol olması çok önemli. Çok meyve olmalı, çok süsleme olmalı ve farklı çikolata seçenekleri olmalı. Ayrıca Waffle hamuru da çok önemli, özellikle çok sert olmamalı ya da yumuşak olmamalı, kıtır kıtır olmalı ve çikolatanın tadını baskılamamalı ya da yerken hamur tadı almamalısınız. Kemal Usta Waffles bu açıdan harika bir yer, ananas, muz, kivi, çilek, elma gibi seçeneklere sahipsiniz. Çakıl taşı çikolatalar, damla çikolatalar, beyaz çikolata, bitter çikolata ve birçok farklı seçenekle waffle'ınızı süsleyebiliyorsunuz. Frambuaz sosu bile var. Bence çay waffle ile harika bir ikili, belki de Türkiye'de her şeyin yanında çay içmeyi tercih ettiğimiz içindir ama Waffle'daki o tatlı hissiyatını biraz olsun dengeliyor. Belki siz sert bir kahve de tercih edebilirsiniz.
Burada sadece Waffle değil pek çok farklı seçeneğe sahipsiniz, buradaki bütün tatlıların ismini bile bilmiyorum ama hepsi çok iştah açıcı görünüyor. Bazılarının üstünde isimlerinin yazdığını görebilirsiniz. Son fotoğrafta sol üstte Alman pastası diyor. Almanya'da bu tarz pastalar mı var yoksa buna böyle seslenilmesinin bir başka sebebi var mı bilmiyorum. @quekery, @felixxx ya da @smooms belki bu konuda beni aydınlatabilir. Fotoğraflarda Churros'u da görebilirsiniz. Bunun adını daha önce çok duydum ama henüz yemedim, bir kere denemek istiyorum. Kız arkadaşım çok lezzetli olduklarını söylemişti.
İşte iç dizaynı görebileceğiniz bir başka fotoğraf. Bence içerinin atmosferi oldukça güzel. Siparişinizi verdikten sonra üst kata çıkıp siparişinizi orada tüketiyorsunuz. Bence mantıklı bir seçim, bir yandan insanlar hesap ödemeye çalışırken ya da sipariş verirken bir başka yerde yemek yemek bazen karmaşık bir hava yaratabiliyor. Özellikle küçük waffle dükkanlarında.
