It is a great pleasure for me to write this application post to NEWBIES INITIATIVE 2020
My name is Adetoyi Adeife with hive username @adeife2
I got to know about hive through a friend @monica-ene sometimes last year July and I made my first post which is my introductory post the following month, August and ever since then I have been on a quest to broaden my knowledge about hive, because I really must be frank here, it has not been an easy one trying to navigate through the blockchain but all thanks to @monica-ene she has been always there to help out and also @bhoa, has really helped to understand some basics about the blockchain, I am very much grateful to you two 🙂🤗
@monica-ene introduced me to this initiative through @starstrings01 post sometimes last year but then I still did not understand how to go about it, few days ago @temmylade help with some explanations and how to get a badge to enable me write an application post
MY THOUGHTS ABOUT THE INITIATIVE
You will agree with me that without support of an old hiveians, it is kind of challenging to navigate through the blockchain, finding yourself in a new environment like hive, one needs to understand the rules governing this blockchain, the right tags to use, understand the various communities and their contest...
I find this initiative @newbies-hive to be a liken guide for the newbies and also those who have been on the blockchain but still can't find their way around here to get familiar and also grow on the blockchain

REASONS FOR JOINING THE INITIATIVE
Though I have been on the blockchain for about six months but I fall into the category of those who still can't find their way in the blockchain and this can be so tiring and discouraging so,
I will like to learn more about hive and navigating through the blockchain
Learn more about hash tags and their uses
Learn more about communities
Learn more about hive powers uses, hive-engine tokens, their uses and how to acquire them
Learn more about blockchain gaming, crytocurrency and trading
And also acquire more knowledge in every areas possible that will help me grow on the blockchain
