My opinion about Ecency Waves and a suggestion
Hello dear friends of Loving Hive and Ecency! Today I'm here to give you a brief review of what I'm finding with the new Ecency update, which is something I've been wanting to share for several days.
I was totally taken by surprise by the update, as I was completely unaware of what was coming, and when the app on the cell phone suggested me to install the update, my first thought was: oh no, I'll have to log in with password and all again, hehe. Not that that's a problem, but at the time I was just gossiping the app as usual.
When the update was installed, which was pretty quick, I was surprised that my account was still open as if nothing and a new option appeared that I immediately fell in love with : Ecency waves.

Mi opinión sobre Ecency Waves y una sugerencia
Hola queridos amigos de Loving Hive y de Ecency! Hoy vengo a hacer una breve reseña de lo que me está pareciendo la nueva actualización de Ecency, que es algo que hace varios días tenía ganas de compartir.
Me tomó totalmente por sorpresa la actualización, ya que desconocía por completo lo que se venía, y cuando la aplicación en el teléfono móvil me sugirió instalar la actualización, lo primero que pensé fue: ay no, tendré que ingresar con contraseña y todo otra vez, jeje. No es que eso sea un problema, pero en ese momento sólo estaba chismeando la app como por costumbre.
Cuando se instaló la actualización, que fue bastante rápido, me sorprendió que mi cuenta seguía abierta como si nada y apareció una nueva opción de la que me enamoré de inmediato : Ecency waves.
The advantages of Ecency waves
Although it's been a few days since I "got hung up" (translated from Argentinean Spanish, it's like saying I've unintentionally forgotten) with my daily post on Ecency waves, something I had proposed to myself, I found it an excellent option to participate in Hive for numerous reasons.
For example, people who may not have been able to make the time to write a post every day in a more conventional way in the Hive or Ecency blog, could keep updated on what is happening in Hive and interact with other users through this very brief format of communication.
It allows us to express ourselves and get to know each other much more, as it invites us to make an entry on Hive in a more spontaneous way, sharing something of the moment, a simple thought, a greeting, or something that represents us.
It promotes engagement with the platform in general because as soon as we open Ecency, we can see a large number of users writing, interacting and being an active part of this ecosystem through this new feature.
It gives the possibility to discuss and converse in a short format, which again, opens the way to greater communication and knowledge among the users of the ecosystem.
Las ventajas de Ecency waves
Aunque hace unos días que “me colgué” (traducido desde el español argentino, es como decir que me he olvidado sin quererlo) con mi post diario en Ecency waves, algo que me había propuesto, me pareció una excelente opción para participar en Hive por numerosos motivos.
Por ejemplo las personas que tal vez no han podido hacerse el momento de escribir un post todos los días de manera más convencional en el blog de Hive o de Ecency, podrían mantenerse actualizados de lo que ocurre en Hive e interactuar con otros usuarios a través de este formato brevísimo de comunicación.
Nos permite expresarnos y conocernos mucho más, ya que invita a hacer un ingreso en Hive de manera más espontánea, compartiendo algo del momento, un simple pensamiento, un saludo, o algo que nos represente.
Promueve el compromiso con la plataforma en general debido a que ni bien abrimos Ecency, podemos ver una gran cantidad de usuarios escribiendo, interactuando y siendo parte activa de este ecosistema a través de esta nueva función.
Da la posibilidad de debatir y conversar en un formato breve, lo que nuevamente, abre paso a una mayor comunicación y conocimiento entre los usuarios del ecosistema.
Suggestions and a small problem
I start with the small problem that I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing it. Since the new update, sometimes I'm reading or replying and the app suddenly closes, so I have to open it again and go back to where I was. This has sometimes caused me to lose comments I was writing.
And there is something that could be interesting, maybe it already exists and I can't find it (if so I would be very grateful if you could tell me where it is), and it would be wonderful if in the notifications section there was an exclusive space for Ecency waves notifications.
Sugerencias y un pequeño problema
Empiezo con el pequeño problema que no se si soy la única que lo experimenta. Desde la nueva actualización, a veces estoy leyendo o respondiendo y se me cierra súbitamente la app, por lo que tengo que abrirla otra vez y regresar a donde estaba. Esto a veces me ha hecho perder comentarios que estaba escribiendo.
Y hay algo que podría ser interesante, quizás ya existe y yo no lo encuentro (si es así les agradezco enormemente que me comenten donde está), y es que sería maravilloso que en la sección de notificaciones existiera un espacio exclusivo para las notificaciones de Ecency waves.
At least what has happened to me is that sometimes replies or mentions are added, and in general I prefer to respond to comments to blog posts from another device other than the mobile to expand more or review the English I use.
However, Ecency waves invites me to make this more direct, more natural, but sometimes I haven't specifically found the notifications for this new feature, so I'm sure I've missed some conversations that I currently have no idea how to find.
If an "Ecency waves" would appear in notifications, I think it would facilitate this dynamic of generating chats or discussions from a post.
Al menos lo que me ha pasado a mi es que en ocasiones se suman respuestas o menciones, y en general prefiero responder los comentarios a los post del blog desde otro dispositivo que no sea el móvil para explayarme más o revisar el inglés que utilizo.
Sin embargo, Ecency waves me invita a que esto sea más directo, más natural, pero a veces no he encontrado específicamente las notificaciones de esta nueva función, por lo que estoy segura que he perdido algunas conversaciones que actualmente no tengo idea cómo encontrar.
Si en notificaciones apareciera un “Ecency waves”, creo que facilitaría esta dinámica de generar charlas o debates a partir de un post.
Other than that, as I said at the beginning, I find it a fascinating addition to this whole Hive ecosystem. It's new, it's trendy, it's easy to use, it invites you to want to participate, it's excellent!
Fuera de eso, como comentaba en un principio, me parece un añadido fascinante a todo este ecosistema de Hive. Es novedoso, está de moda, es sencillo de utilizar, invita a querer participar, ¡es excelente!
