Hola hivers 😙 les cuento mi experiencia haciendo el logo de hive. Fue un poco difícil pero interesante para mí, tomando en cuenta que lo hice en un día y medio jejeje. De pronto recordé que tenía que participar en el reto Hive top model y no pude evitar pensar ¿Que voy a hacer? Así que decidí hacer una pequeña maqueta de hive, en mi mente todo estaba perfecto, y me dije a mi misma "Haremos una maqueta de anime, la forramos con papel y pega blanca, luego le agregamos pintura al frío roja y unimos los pedazos.

Hi hivers 😙 I tell you my experience making the hive logo. It was a bit difficult for me, taking into account that I did it in a day and a half hehehe. Suddenly I remembered that I had to participate in the Hive top model challenge and I couldn't help thinking what am I going to do? So I decided to make a little hive model, in my mind everything was perfect, and I said to myself "We will make an anime model, we will line it with paper and white glue, then we will add red cold paint and join the pieces together.

Comencé a dibujar las partes del logo con una regla y con un cuchillo caliente comencé a cortar los bordes pero se tornó difícil porque mi pulso estaba fallando y algunas partes quedaron más grandes que otras, pero no tenía más anime. Recordé que no tenía periódico así que corte trozos de papel de reciclaje ♻️ y con un pincel los fui pegando alrededor de todas las partes del logo, hasta que finalmente estuvieron todos forrados.

I started to draw the parts of the logo with a ruler and with a hot knife I started to cut the edges but it became difficult because my pulse was failing and some parts were bigger than others, but I had no more anime. I remembered that I didn't have any newspaper so I cut pieces of recycling paper ♻️ and with a paintbrush I glued them around all the parts of the logo, until finally they were all lined.

Y los dejé secar toda la noche, hasta que decidí pintarlo pero no tenía pintura al frío roja, ya que la que tenía estaba seca y con un tutorial en Youtube logré recuperarla colocándole agua caliente jajaja. Luego llegó el momento de armar la maqueta y hasta ese momento todo estaba perfecto, hasta que pensé: ¿Cómo voy a agregar la parte del logo para que pereza que está flotando? Eso me tuvo varios minutos pensando y se me ocurrió utilizar un palillo de dientes en ambos extremos que luego pegue con silicón en barra.

And I let them dry all night, until I decided to paint it but I didn't have red cold paint, since the one I had was dry and with a tutorial on Youtube I managed to recover it by putting hot water on it hahaha. Then it was time to assemble the model and until that moment everything was perfect, until I thought: How am I going to add the part of the logo to make it lazy that it is floating? That had me thinking for several minutes and I thought of using a toothpick on both ends that I then glued with silicone stick.

Terminé de armar las otras partes y una vez listo lave mis manos y mi rostro para grabar el vídeo. Me divertí mucho haciéndolo aunque ha Sido la manualidad más rápida que he hecho, y quizá por eso el resultado no fue el esperado pero me encantó igual. Los tamaños no están totalmente proporcionales, pero me encantó y ahora tengo mi maqueta de hive para grabar mis videos ❤️

I finished assembling the other parts and once ready I washed my hands and face to shoot the video. I had a lot of fun doing it even though it was the fastest craft I've ever done, and maybe that's why the result wasn't what I expected but I loved it anyway. The sizes are not totally proportional, but I loved it and now I have my hive model to record my videos ❤️
